This counter sink works really well. I've always had trouble with high flute count countersinks and had been using single flute to reduce chatter. This one cuts great and has no chatter at all. Very happy with it.

Sharp and accurate

Haven't used it yet, but seems to be of decent quality at a decent price...

Working on an old 1948 truck grille and using a 1/8" countersunk pop rivet on 14 Ga. mild steel. Had to countersink about 70 1/8" drilled holes. Keeping the drill speed down so as not to heat up the tip which kills any drill, I was able to easily countersink the holes and install the pop rivets with the results I had hoped for. I'll finish these up with a little fiberglass bondo and sand smooth, and its ready for primer.

Worked exactly as expected on aircraft aluminum rc car plate.

This product arrived with a little bit of rust on the shaft and a protective rubber coating over the cutting surfaces. Peeled off the "protective" surface to find that the cutting area had MORE rust than on the shaft. Really people? A brand new tool should not arrive in such poor shape. It appears to be cutting "okay" (have only used it on aluminum as of yet, not steel) but I'm not sure I have high hopes for its longevity considering on how it arrived.disapointed

This is high speed steel, so it will dull faster than carbide if you're using this on wood (or sheet metal, which I wouldn't recommend). I, however, bought this to get the perfect 60 degree internal chamfer on a piece of PTFE tubing for a 3D printer, and for that, it works brilliantly, and is liable to last forever. Cutting PTFE is not liable to ever dull this bit, so it goes into the toolkit, and will be around a good while.

I used this to countersink 40 holes on some fairly hard stainless steel plates. It got through all 40 holes and appears to still be sharp enough to keep using.There was some chatter once you get to the maximum width of the bit but if you take it slow and use even pressure you can get a pretty clean cut with this.
