Great flashlight
This flashlight is bright and lasts a good amount of time. I've had mine for about 3 years and I like it so much I bought another one so I could always have one fully charged on hand. In those 3 years I have accidentally left them in my jeans several times while they went through the wash. Flashlights still works, battery life seems unaffected. I left one in my jean pocket while I took a nap and accidentally snapped it in half. I was able to push the two pieces together and pop it back in place. Flashlight still works and still feels solid. I only have two gripes about it, both are personal preferences. One, it's not USB-C. Two, it has a short throw distance. About 20-30ft (6-9m). Which makes sense because it's an inspection light so it isn't supposed to cast far...but living in the countryside where it gets really dark, the farther I can see the better. Would I buy it again? Yes, unless I found a comparable flashlight with my two gripes addressed.

Great light!
I have ordered and reordered this light in the past. I normally give it away to my teams as this is a very good light! It's bright, it last the entire day, the magnet is good not great but does the job and the little lantern is amazing for working under cabinets or attic spaces. I will keep buying this and will keep gifting it. Great light for the price and I haven't had any issues with any of the ones I have had. Been using the same one for about 3 years and still going strong.

Size, beam intensity, switch functionality, rechargeable, and construction.
I must admit that I am a flashlight junkie, but I really like NEBO’s Inspector flashlight. The fact that the unit is small and is easily rechargeable with two intensity settings and simple switch makes this a perfect light for your bed-stand. As a pilot of single engine aircraft, I also have an Inspector in my flightbag. The intensity of the light is very useful for pre-flighting my aircraft. The size allows me to easily shine a light on the flap, aileron, elevator, and rudder attachment points and actuators. It is better to have NEBO Inspector and the ready than to curse the darkness!

Not terrible, has its pros and cons
Really nice flashlight. Nice size and not heavy at all but durable. It’s really bright and I like that you can vary the brightness as well. Magnet at the end it strong enough to hold it up but it can be wiggled loose pretty easily. My only complaint is that the button to turn it on is really sensitive and at the end of it so it comes on in my pants pocket quite a lot, which is not cool because I use it for work daily and I can’t afford a dead battery on the job. It’s not super fast to charge but not terrible and the battery life is decent. Honestly it’s not a bad edc flashlight, but I’m not impressed with this as much as the previous Inspector model. I’ll probably keep shopping for another one that I might like better, but I’ll use this until I find one.

Great company to buy from!
TL;DR got a whole new flashlight as a free replacement when my cap failed. Very bright. Decent battery life. Gets a little hot First of all, look how bright it is in my (very) well lit shop. Imagine what this bad boy does in the dark. Hint; it'll light up a whole bedroom What drove me to leave a review was the customer service. They call the cap a "bite cap" so naturally I thought I could hold the light by the bite cap with my teeth. However, it won't last too long if you do that. The light still turned on and everything, but using the button with the rubber piece torn was troublesome. I had to call and get a replacement cap. The process was made really simple. I called ACG, the company that owns Nebo, and they said they would send a new cap. I think it took a couple weeks to arrive, but hey, warranty is usually a slow process. Unfortunately, the wrong cap arrived. I called ACG again, let them know what happened. The lady on the phone seemed upset that this happened. She said she would send a whole new light instead. She had me verify that I actually owned the light, and about a week later, my new light was in Definitely a company worth doing business with. And the light itself is great. I've already attested to its brightness. And I've owned and used this light daily for 6 months. There are 3 modes you can cycle through; but what's cool is that once you turn it off for like 30 seconds, the cycle resets. So each time you turn it on, it'll start on high mode. I had other brand lights that don't do this, and you have to cycle through all the modes every single time you want to use the light. Because of how bright it is, it gets fairly warm. Not really an issue for me. I can use the light pretty heavily through the whole day before it needs a charge. I'm a mechanic and this is basically my main light; and I haven't had to stop in the middle of my day to charge it once. It definitely doesn't last me two days of heavy use, so I just charge it at the end of each day. And being able to switch to AAA batteries in a pinch is really nice. And since I have two of these lights, I put a comparison picture of the batteries in this review I don't really have anything bad to say about this light or Nebo or ACG. I hope this review convinces at least one person to buy this light. They really deserve it, and so do you

A Great Flashlight
I work as an industrial plant mechanic and this has become my primary flashlight. I constantly use it(both intentionally and unintentionally) throughout my day for inspecting machines, tapping random things, dealing with sub-poor lighting, and the all important task of flashlight holder. The button on the flashlight is magnetic, it's strong enough to easily hold its weight, which makes it very easy to stick it next to you to light up an area hands free. Though it will absolutely fall into the abyss if you happen to bump it. Though the button really enjoys collecting metal shavings which it very much doesn’t like parting with, I have all but given up the task entirely. I have also lost my flashlight for three days because it attached itself to a rarely used barrel dolly(still don't know how it slipped out without me noticing). The button also feels smooth to push and shows no signs of stickage nor poor wiring. There are three different lighting modes, with one click cycling through bright, dim, and off. With double clicking strobes, allowing your eyes to rest in between the flashes. This light is quite bright especially for it's size. Pulling the tip of the flashlight reveals the lamp feature, which when I first brought this flashlight I was unsure about, but it has easily become my favorite part of the flashlight and I use it very often. For my job I find it far more useful than the typical adjustable focus on most flashlights. This flashlight also fits in most pockets, able to so easily horizontally, but is quite long vertically, always making sure to penetrate any hole in my pocket when I forget to slide the clip on. The clip-pocket leaves a little bit to be desired in tightness. However the clip itself won't have any issue with looseness, as instead of being held in by screws, it's attached directly to the main shaft of the flashlight, which is a bit of a double sided blade since you won't be able to replace it if the clip takes too much punishment. Battery wise, I charge once daily and I almost never have an issue getting through my day, despite being my most used tool. I couldn't give a good estimate of how long my battery lasts, due to how often I take my flashlight out of my pocket and it’s already ready to go(I think of it like a remote start, sometimes warm like it too). I would say about once a week I have to throw it on a charger before I get home, however it typically charges within an hour and a half. It's also easy to tell when the flashlight is getting low, as it'll start dimming itself a bit before it completely dies. The charging port is also quite well protected and all the parts fit smoothly into each other. The entire NEBO Light has a high quality feel to it and it leaves very little to be desired about it. I absolutely got a steal at buying it for $19, the price seems to fluctuate quite a bit(definitely "inflation"), I see ~$30 as a fair deal and under as a good one.

Really?
UPDATE: 08/16/25. Less than six months of minimal usage, and this light has COMPLETELY FAILED. Will not recharge, will not turn on will not work with alkaline batteries. COMPLETE GARBAGE DO NOT BUY.! I left my original review intact below as it seems I was correct with my first impression that it was a worthless piece of trash. My Nebo Inspector 500+ arrived today. The ext head 360° light is a nice feature, but that end of this penlight doesn’t feel very strong or solid. Hope it doesn’t break when I inevitably drop it! Now, let’s move onto the fun part. There was reminder sticker on my Nebo about removing the paper disc from the battery. I removed the disc & the sticker per Nebo instructions. That sticker left gummy glue residue nearly all the way around my Nebo and I’ve spent the last three hours using & escalating various home remedies trying to remove the glue. That glue laughed in my face when I soaked it in a compress of 91% isopropyl alcohol for an hour and then frantically clawed at it with my fingernails and hot soapy water. I’ve tried vinegar, baking soda, olive oil and WD-40. Three hours into it I’ve got about 65 to 70% of the glue residue removed. I may put it on my bench grinder next! I would’ve returned this light asap but the box had to be torn open to see instructions. (Strangely, the specious reminder is not mentioned anywhere on the box/instructions.) Now, as I labored, I also thought many thoughts, including numerous ways that reminder could’ve been made just as effectively, for the same or less cost and not create a problem for the customer. “Y’all gon make me lose my mind, Up in here, up in here.” Listen, listen, I paid 33 bucks for this light and then I have to fight glue residue for hours? Not much to like about that. Am I the only one having this experience, Really?
