Made My Wife Happy
My wife just had the first of two knee replacement surgeries. While they got her up and semi mobile pretty quickly, getting to/from the bathroom was getting to be too much. I bought this for her use and she and are both pleased. I particularly like the ease of adjusting the height, as it took a couple of uses to get it right. Here are some assembly and use notes:1) One reviewer complained about the holes not lining up. There is some tension in the assembled, as the arms are not parallel. Get one of the special assembly pins in place between an arm and the seat frame then push/pull (as required) to line up the other hole. Then insert the special pin.2) The special pins consist of a steel pin bonded in a slightly springy C shaped plastic clip. The pin goes in the assembly holes and the plastic spring clip grabs the frame rail. It takes a moderate force to get these in place. The easiest way to do this is put the pin in the assembly hole the moderately pop the plastic clip with a rubber mallet. (If you don’t have a rubber mallet, put a wood block over the pin and use a regular hammer.) The rubber mallet can also be used to attach the seat and the cover to the rails.3) The adjustable legs use a spring loaded pin to lock in place. When installing the first time, or adjusting, keep the pin slightly out of line with the lock holes until you reach the hole you wish to use. The rotate until it locks in place.

Sturdy , life saver , my back I much happier !!!
I got this for my father who is 83 years old and he is unable to stand up for longer than a few minutes . Helping him standing in the shower was very difficult. Now I place this chair inside the shower and he seats comfortable for as long as he needs .Comes with all you need to assemble it . It is very light weight and sturdy if assembled correctly. Made out of plastic and aluminum, so this will never rust . Also has these thick rubber pads on the legs so the bathtub doesn’t get damaged at all . Holds a lot of weight without a problem ( my father is a tall guy)

Just what my mom needed.
Full disclosure, this has never been used for its intended purposes, BUT it has been used…My mom was told she’d need this after her hip replacement, so we bought it. She put it together herself because she couldn’t wait for anyone to help her, but she didn’t have any problems because it was easy to do. It turns out she didn’t need it after all, but one day she needed an extra chair for something, so she sat on this. I would say it’s pretty sturdy, and she wasn’t complaining about it being uncomfortable, so that’s good. Also, even though it was never used, it DOES fit nicely over a toilet… we tested that before her surgery. So now I have an adult potty chair that I have to figure out what to do with.

The Cadillac of comodes!
I bought this for my 85 year old mother. Hospice had ordered her one but it was very flimsy. This one has a very sturdy frame, the lid and the seat are also heavy. It is a little wider than the rented comode so it doesn't pinch her. The bucket also fits in quite nicely. It doesn't stick half way out like the rented one did. It's nice to have something for her that she is very comfortable with.

Really like this product
Don’t be afraid to buy this bedside commode. I put it together in about 25 minutes, it would have been more like 15 if I hadn’t put the sides on backwards. My husband is over six feet tall and weighs somewhere north of 230 and there are absolutely no issues at all. Great item, great price. Easy to use, easy to clean. It will really come in handy after my husband recovers for situations like when workers are in during the day installing a walk-in shower in our only bathroom. Beginning to wonder how we got by without one. I highly recommend this product.
