Works Amazing!
I bought so many different bits to work on a bathroom shower and tub surround, all covered in 3" tiles. None of them did what I wanted until I bought this one. I just finished the entire area with 1 bit! I pushed as hard or as light as I could depending where I was and it never broke. I am using a dremmel 4000 on low because that's honestly as fast as it needed to go to do the job. Already ordering more just to have!

Awesome bit
This grout remover drillbit worked phenomenally, and never got dull. I would recommend this to anyone looking to clean out old, grout and put in new grout. It was also beneficial to pulling out tile.

Fragile at high speed, still best solution for fine grout
Did a re-grout on a shower base with hex tile poorly grouted 2x before. Used 4 of these. One broke in under 10 min, the other 3 lasted over an hour of constant grinding. My one tip is to start the dremel at half speed when the bit is fresh and sharp. As the bit dulls, increase the speed gently. Also tried an assortment of diamond and titanium coated bits in multi packs. Grout is strong and melted those in 5-6 minutes each at medium speed.

Great bit
Very happy with this bit. It made short work of removing grout.

Works awesome
Just a few things first. I have an old school Craftsman rotary tool I inherited that I used with this grout bit. I obviously didn't use it with the Dremel guide. Even if I had a Dremel I don't think I'd use the guide. I have been using it to rough up and get some of the 40 year old grout out so I can just regrout over it. Retiling is not a job I want to tackle at this point. I found that if I kept the bit at an angle and pulled towards me it did a great job. I bought two bits and I've almost completely finished with all the horizontal grout lines and I'm still on the first bit. I have been taking my time so the tool and bit doesn't get too hot. I tried several other methods before using this bit and it has made this job so much easier. I definitely recommend 👌

Effective but not long-lasting
Like many other reviewers, I have found these bits to effectively and efficiently remove grout, but their durability leaves a lot to be desired. I was regrouting our small (3'x7') bathroom floor, which has 2" hexagonal tiles (i.e., a lot of grout). The Dremel bit dives right into the grout and removes it quickly, at least when it's new. But that doesn't last very long. The problem I had was less with the bits breaking off and more that they would dull after modest use. Once dull, the bits bog down in the grout, becoming harder to move. They also burn the grout (thus heating up even more). All told it took me three small bits (this one, 569D) and three of the larger 1/8" bits (= $$$).One trick I used was to actually break the bits off myself. I found that the bit would dull close to the tip, yet still be sharp further down. Using pliers I could break the dull part off, giving the bit new life (albeit with less depth). More carefully monitoring the angle of the bit helped extend the life of the bit, but nonetheless I was frustrated by how many of these I went through.

Way better than the "same" item that's in stock at Home Depot
I bought one of these last week locally at HD, and then ordered this one here after the HD one wore out in about 10 standard 5"x5" tiles worth of work and it became clear that I'd need more than one and probably a ton of these bits to regrout the shower. I didn't want to order a ton of these on Amazon right off the bat, because you can never be quite sure what's in stock here. Sometimes it's some weird counterfeit product that isn't as good as the real thing. I wish I *had* ordered a ton, though, because the first one absolutely TORE through about a third of the shower's grouting job before I burned the rechargeable Dremel I was using out. That's right - the Dremel (7 years old, to be fair) died before the bit dulled. LOL. RIP, 'lil Dremel, long live your plug-in replacement.I tragically dropped the Amazon-sourced bit as I was taking it off of the dead Dremel, and the tip snapped off of it, but I had already stopped mid-job and ordered another one after seeing what it was capable of. Now I have to work with another Home Depot one until that one arrives. :( Guess I'll see if the next HD one can get through 6 tiles worth of grout this time.

Love it
Saved me hours. Works great last long time. I did 350s feet before changing bits.
