My sump fits 3 socks and I got tired of washing the felt socks in the washing machine and my wife hated it. I decided to give these a try as you can was then under the sink and pop them right back in. They are easy to clean but clogged up every 2 days even using 3 socks. Within a month or less the socks started clogging daily. They clog so fast detritus flows over the top into the skimmer section. I pulled them out and put the felt socks back. At least I only have to clean those weekly instead of daily. My nitrates and phosphates are still ultra low so changing socks daily made no difference there. Maybe I’ll try larger micron size nylon socks.

Only comment another little flange under the ring so it snaps into place like the original Red Sea product it’s designed from. So when they are new since this extra flange that snaps into place is missing they can float up a bit . May want yo redesign the 3D file to include this. Once in place for a while a few days they stay in place perfectly .

The one picture shows these socks as 180 Micron, yet description is listed as *80.If these were 80 - they'd would clog quite quickly, my tank has a lot of debris...and they haven't clogged in the 24hrs I've had them going yet.Regardless, great socks - 180 seems more accurate though. They work well, regardless!

Good product, takes time but arrived as describe.

These are more like 100 micron. Still do a decent enough job at filtering fish waste and particles. Stitching is also very thin and weak so don't expect it to last very long.
