2011 Ford F150... What I did...Easy!!
I have a 2011 Ford F150 with tow package; 7 blade and 4 wire flat. This harness is exact fit into the existing plug-in connector or if replacing it also.... use the Hopkins 40975 Multi-Tow Plug-In Kit (you will not need the included bracket). The colored harness wire match to the F150 truck wires as follows: white to white; blue to blue; brown to brown; green to green; yellow to grey with black stripe; red to yellow; black to orange. For me, I cut the length of the harness in half as you do not need all of it.You get 6 yellow #10/12 butt connectors so you will need another one for the white ground. Some wires are thinner #14 so after stripping a little longer you can simply fold them over and they will fit nicely when crimping into the slightly larger yellow connectors. I chose to buy heat shrink connectors and not use the supplied ones as they are under the truck and exposed to road weather....maybe not a big deal. Now, electric tape up everything and if need be, zip tie the harness up out of the way. Both connection ends of the the new harness and new plug-in come dry so it is good to use a little Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. Tube to ward off moisture damage. I took my time as I do not do this everyday, used very basic tools, did what I could on the work bench, and had it done in 1 1/2 hrs.Oh...works perfectly. 4 stars as this should include the 7th butt connector along with the supplied ground connector which was not needed for this situation.

Wire color coding is off for Left Turn signal/Brake
If this is truly a custom install, please read/pay attention to the wiring color codes. The RED, NOT THE YELLOW, powers the left turn signal/brake light. I still scratch my head as to why they coded this pigtail accordingly. I was confident that I had wired this correctly using my existing 4 wire plug leads (yellow, green, brown and white), not so. Added more time to my install, crawling back under the vehicle to correct this. PITA, otherwise a very nice product.

Great OEM replacement for my Excursion
I broke the retaining tab off my 20yo 7-wire plug when replacing the trailer plug socket. This is a great solution. Just beware that the wire colors in your vehicle may not match the colors on this plug. I just worked my way around the plug splicing into the original wires by position, not color.

wire colors arent standard
this pigtail works fine. But as others have stated, yellow doesnt go to yellow for the driver side brake and turn signal.Gotta use the RED wire. Wish I had read the reviews before connecting it up and seeing that it wasnt working. All good now though on a toyota tacoma using a curt wiring harness.

Yes, colors do not line up, but customer service from POLLAK is outstanding!
Simple to figure out the wire colors, and POLLAK was best in class responsive. STEPHEN was my helper, and he was fantastic.

This will fit any vehicle, whether or not it is equipped with a tow package.
I purchased this for a 2012 Ford E350 cargo van. My factory harness had been damaged and the plug was removed. This was a perfect fit. Very good quality construction, heavy gauge long wires. Whether or not your vehicle came with a seven pin trailer harness this is the one to buy. I can’t say enough good things about it. The only thing to remember is that it does not come with the round seven pin plug for your trailer. That must be purchased separately.

F250 repair
Direct replacement to my 2012 F250. My harness got damaged right at the plug and this is the exact same plug that will plug right into the double connector on the Fords. Wire colors are different so when soldering in the new plug need to follow the pin location and not colors, but quick and easy repair that plugs into the factory connector.

Wire colors didn't match existing harnes, but that was easy to figure out.
Spliced into existing harness because end connector was damaged.
