Blue Crabs: Catch 'em, Cook 'em, Eat 'em

Just bought a new home on a canal and wanted to find out if we had any blue crabs. Bought this book to educate myself. Dropped a piece of twine with a chicken leg attached into the water. Within minutes there was a big blue crab attached! Bought ourselves a crab trap and followed all of Peters instructions. These babies are delicious! Can't wait for the return of crab season!!

Very informative, everything you need to know about where, when and how to catch cook blue claw crabs. Lots of good recipes too.

This gives the practical advice needed to head for the high seas & bring home all the treasure the blue crab world has to offer. Written in simple language and combined with lovely photographs. My son read it in one day because he loved it so much.

To be fair, there's no need to complicate something simple, but I'm left wanting a bit more guidance on where and how to find them. Otherwise lays out the basics well enough. Worth the purchase.

Great little book with practical approach to crabbing just the way we learned it as children. Wonderful for the novice.
