After reading the user guide I became aware that the coffee maker can not be left plugged in 24-7. On page 1 under "Important Safeguards" line 11 states, : to disconnect the appliance, turn control to off, then remove plug from wall outlet. Then on page 2, the second warning under "Important Safeguards" says, : After brewing is finished turn off the appliance.1. There is no on off control.2. There is no way I am going to remember to unplug the unit after every use.3. I will be constantly worried that the life of the appliance will be greatly diminished if not unplugged or even scarier, it could become a fire hazard.

This thing is crap. Made one cup, then checked out. On second cup, it ran maybe 1 ounce thru and stopped. Hit the brew again and maybe 2 ounce ran thru and stopped. Hit brew button again and ran maybe 3 or four ounces ran thru. On this last try, the thing steamed, whistled, sounded like it would blow up and had multiple "pops" with a lot of steam, It still didn't run all the water thru. I even followed their stupid rules, don't plug until water is in, coffee is in, unit closed then plug in and hope you can get coffee.I had a CHEFMAN coffee brewer and it NEVER did better than half the water going into coffee. It finally gave it up for good which is why I bought this one. These two coffee makers are the same company and all crap. It seems like Amazon would be more attentive to who they get their products. Two brewers in 3 months.Amazon is getting shoddy products to sell. Guess I will have to go to the store to buy a coffee maker. Maybe I should lose Amazon and PRIME too. Don't see much benefit any more.I would NOT recommend this product or company.

It brews fast and hot, but it makes coffee taste like burnt rubber. I have washed it, soaked it, run it many times, but it still makes that terrible taste.

At first I was SO excited about this coffee maker. My husband and I like our coffee much different and this was one was perfect for single use. It’s fast and easy to use. Unfortunately, within one month it started not working correctly. I would have to go through several brew cycles to get a full cup of coffee. Now it’s less than 2 months since purchasing and all of the water starting leaking out of the bottom of the machine. I’m so disappointed! Already burned the box because I liked it so much at first, so returning it is likely not an option.

The coffee was okay for the price point of this coffee maker, but then it broke in less than one week. It was sadly a waste of money.

This coffee maker brews a nice cup of coffee. The temperature of the coffee could be a little bit hotter. Also the machine does not have a power on/off button ?

Unit #1: We liked the size and simplicity of the coffee maker but we needed a wider cup to collect the coffee during brewing as at the end of the brew cycle, it spewed coffee over the front of a regular cup.While cleaning the unit today I noted light entering the bottom of the coffee collection area which directs the brew to the center dispenser head and into the cup. Upon closer exam the area is cracked which would account for the spewing of coffee during the end cycle. Since this item was either damaged in shipping or flawed in production (the thickness of the plastic in the cracked area is thin) and over 30 days since purchase, we were not eligible for replacement from Amazon. but were given another chance with a replacement.Unit #2: Replacement received. Upon opening the lid after one use, the "water shower head" was observed to be loosed from its mounting and hanging from the inside of the lid. With closer look, the pegs meant to hold the head to the hinge are apparently (cast this way) too wide to hold the mechanism together in use. It is not broken but appears to be a manufacturer's defect.With further scrutiny, the entire alignment of the water shower head is crooked and doesn't drop the mechanism straight into the capsule receptacle.I know when I'm beaten and will not be replacing with this brand again. I hope they improve the design and make a go of it, however, this consumer is done with it.

I really like how fast it brews. The only thing I have a issue with is the coffee isn't as hot as I would like it to be.
