The Holy Grail of Self-Help Books
This may not be the only self-help book you ever need. But if you're like me and you've accumulated a lot of books over the years, but haven't managed to stick with the program, this is it! Getting results is not exactly as easy as reading a book. It's about as easy as reading a book and making a sandwich. Without needing discipline or faith or changing beliefs, I have already become more aware of how being in certain positions or making certain motions will cause strain resulting in aches and pains later. I can also count on being able to relax whenever I want and fall asleep when I need to.It's hard to go into a great deal of detail about what's in the book because what you get out of it will be very personal. I can say that it's been an experience that I will never forget. There is a great deal more to be gained, I'm sure, as one reads the book/does the exercises (They're the same thing! You won't fall into the trap of reading the book and procrastinating on doing the exercises! ) but they're fun, pleasurable and produce undeniable results every time. There's no fear for letting this one sit on the shelf after getting frustrated or jaded. I may even go back through my library and see if I find something that's a bit more useful with my newfound perspective. If you're of a mystical bent, this is an excellent way to achieve an altered state that can serve as a launching pad for your magical journey. For the scientific type, there is no "spoon-bending" or anything else to be skeptical about. Only time-tested, well-researched method that you can test and evaluate for yourself. For the Leary/Wilson types, this is the most effective tool for getting practical benefits from fifth-circuit activation that I've ever come across. And believe me, I've looked, dude. Bottom line, I highly reccomend it for anyone who posesses a human nervous system.

Practical and useful
I have owned this book for over a year and don't do the exercises frequently, but after doing two today I'd like to recommend this book as a practical way to prepare your body for physical exercise, and to increase your flexibility and balance. As a professional gardener still working part-time at nearly 62, keeping my body flexible and strong is a major concern. I'm also a musician and I'm aware of how much a warm-up period helps muscles move more freely, with less strain and chance of injury. I use foot massages, for instance, to relax my muscles prior to stretching. What this book does is both draw your attention to a particular part of the body and use the images of movement, without the actual movement itself, to affect the muscles in that part. You read the paragraphs telling your what your foot or shoulder might do, how it might move, and that's all. After doing the first exercise today, on my right shoulder, I bent over to see if I noticed a difference between how far my right arm stretched down and my left. Yes, my right was definitely three inches or so closer to the ground. Then I waited about five hours and tried stretching again. The effect had continued, I was still more relaxed and, therefore, more flexible on that side.A useful, practical book for anyone who wants to prepare for exercise, or simply keep their body working well!

Be Fore Warned!
Your body needs to be totally healthy to do the exercises in this book without possibility of negative side-effects and the Book/Author does not warn you about this!To make this as brief as possible... I had an injury to my left hip which was feeling like it was well on its way to being totally healed... I read the first exercise [as the author calls it] which after the fact, he states you may have trouble/side-effects with the opposite side of your body... being the left side as his "exercise" focused on the right-side... thus he explained causes the body/mind/brain to totally focus on the right side of the body.Well... boy did I ever! I immediately after completing the exercise I felt the bad pain in my previously injured and healing left hip! BAD -- I immediately as fast as I could read on for hopefully some help and read the above-mentioned "after the fact" warning of possible negative side effects! He said if you are experiencing trouble with the left side of your body now - re-read the exercise and it should change it back! Dear God In Heaven! What kind of SICK game is this where you do not warn the reader/participant ahead of time... and let them end up suffering because of the author's total arrogance and neglect!!!I was in too much pain to be able to "focus" on his 2-page exercise that put me into this horrid painful situation. I had been so happy that the hip was healing so well and the reason it was -- was because of EFT!!!I immediately started doing EFT -- focusing on the Hip --- and literally within 2 sessions - a few minutes - the pain went away again... but it did reverse some of the healing that had taken place as after that... I again suffered a return of the pain that I was not suffering prior to doing this author's mind/brain exercise! So it was very hurtful and detrimental to me!He reminds me of Rob Williams and Psych-K -- in that he is quite secretive of the "inner-sanctum" workings of these maniacal/negative "exercises" that has been evidently spawned from his mind! And of course at the end of the book... which I summarily perused/ after my injury... being sure not to do any more of his ... "exercises" ... found that like Psych-K it is all about MONEY ... wherein he tries to "SELL" Classes... $$$$$ !!!There are too many other "good" energy healing modalities out there... like EFT... to put yourself in any kind of danger with black-methodologies like this one... where the maker/author puts you up for injury and suffering without any fore-warning.What I have to say to this Author is this... What goes around does in fact come around... you... are not immortal and we all have our Judgment Day... God is watching the harm you are yielding... and you will ultimately answer to him. YOU cannot take your ill-gotten $$$$ with you!Another thing I have learned the hard-way here on Amazon is that you have to be careful of "shills" on the 5-star reviews... I purchase allot on Amazon and have been taken in too many times by the 5-star phonies as with this book being a prime example. I have learned now to always read the 1 and 2 star reviews... they are more often then not.. noteworthy.I hope this review helps to protect some of you from experiencing bad side-effects like I did... God Bless and Be Well...

Cheap thrills and an invitation to Eastern religions
Save your money. Other than an invitation to try eastern religions, I found this book to be a complete waste of time. Yup, if you think about relaxing a part of your body, it'll relax. Deep breathing will relax you, and reading about these things will suggest that you do them.
