Good Replacement Part
Perfect fit, but no instructions on how to remove the old and install the new one: 1. Open hood. 2. Use narrow pliers to twist flange 1/4 turn left and pop out old ornament. 3. Insert new ornament and twist flange 1/4 turn right. 4. Done.

Fit perfectly tight on my W203 Mercedes.
I bought this hood ornament because I needed one in a pinch. So glad I did. My old one came loose and I was afraid that it might hit my windshield while driving. I have a 2006 C280 Luxury W203. This hood ornament fit perfectly snug and exact to the hole of my hood. It has sticky tape on the back to add extra security and the backing under the hood fits tightly. Once I put it on...it does not wiggle or move at all. Clean chrome look and great price too.

Guter original Mercedesstern, passt perfekt
Es handelt sich um einen original-Mercedes-Stern und dementsprechend hat er exakt gepasst und ließ sich in wenigen Minuten problemlos montieren. Er ist mit einer recht starken Feder flexibel dreh-/kippbar gelagert, die den Stern an einem Metallsteg in der Halterung in Position hält, so dass er nicht gleich abbricht und man ihn wieder in Position drehen kann. Ist mir beim waschen in der Wachanlage einige Male passiert. Beim alten Stern war innen dann doch dieser Haltesteg vermutlich durch die Reibung irgendwann abgebrochen. Um die Reibung zu minimieren habe ich vor der Montage ein paar Tropfen Öl in die Halterung gegben.
