Saves a lot of money...very accurate
Lee loaders are great for loading calibers like .45 colt. Big, rimmed, black powder cartridges like this one are very forgiving to reload. All you need to buy is bullets, powder, primers and lube. The Lee Loader is pretty much the only tool you need to reload accurate safe ammunition. It reloads about a bullet a minute when you get used to it, which is much slower than a good reloading press, but you can't carry a press with you to the range or on a hunting trip. I reload while I watch TV sometimes and by the end of a show, I have a bucket of finished bullets. These loaders are pretty easy to use. Just follow the instructions and you will be reloading like a pro in minutes. The resulting rounds are as accurate as any factory load and cost a fraction as much. Add a bullet mold and you can get your ammunition costs down to maybe 5 cents a shot. I use a Lee double cavity flat point 255 grain mold number 90358. Lee Precision 452-255-Rf Double Cavity Mold The type of alloy you use for lead is almost irrelevant if you keep your velocity down under 900 fps, so you can shoot tire weights if you want. The .45 colt is very forgiving and eats whatever you feed it. You can use any powder, but this setup comes with a .7cc dipper and a card listing which powders work with that specific dipper. The best powder to buy if you plan to use this dipper seems to be Hodgdon UNIVERSAL. It has the best ballistics using .7cc of powder with a larger variety of bullets. The Lee load card lists this powder for 160, 180, 200, 215, 230, 250 grain cast lead bullets. It also lists 260 or 300 grain jacketed bullets for this powder. I don't personally use Hodgdon powders, but I know people who do and they swear by it. All the loads on the card are mild loads, safe in old guns, but this caliber is capable of much higher velocity if you buy a scale and use published loading tables. Lee also offers a set of dippers with a charge listing telling you how much of each specific powder the dippers hold. Lee Precision Powder Measure Kit It's cheaper than a scale, but not quite as versatile. I recommend this product highly for anyone just starting out or who doesn't reload very many rounds per year If you reload hundreds of rounds at a time, get a RCBS Rockchucker. If you only need to reload a couple of hundred a month or just want to try out reloading, get this one. It works fine and costs less than a set of dies for a press.

Make your own!
This thing is great! I loaded 50 cartridges in two hours, with a cost of .40 cents per cartridge. Not bad for my first time. Sure it’s not real fast but it saves money and it’s not a bad way to relax. This can be dangerous! Do your research as far as powder loads and bullet weight.

This works great I love it. Be sure to read the instructions a few times before you start.
This isn’t that fastest way to reload but it works just as good as any reloading equipment it just takes a little longer. They look just as Purdy and they are just as accurate as getting the high dollar reloading press. The only thing you will need to get is a plastic mallet, your powder, bullet, and primers and you’re ready to load. It works best if you have a solid bench of some kind to work on. If you’ve never used these before, make sure to read all the instructions a few times before you attempt. I’ve loaded up about 150 .45 Long colts so far for my taurus judge without a problem. I did go buy a powder scale because I wasn’t sure how accurate the powder scoop was. To my surprise the powder scoop is pretty accurate.

Fine item
This easy to use item has gotten me into the reloading hobby. It is fairly straight forward to use. Read the instructions several times, use some case lube on the shells before inserting them into the sizing tool and you can start reloading. There is no worries with placing a primer into the shell by hammering it into the shell with the supplied steel rod. Just place the shell into the proper supplied tool before commencing to hammer the shell onto the primer tool. The kit is well made and has given me no problems. It takes awhile to make some cartridges, but it does save a lot of money, and it is fun to shoot your own reloads! Remember read and reread the instructions before use. Before using the tool to start making fully reloaded cartridges, I made some rounds with no primer or powder added. I did this to check the use of some of the tools and to check the assembled overall length of the completed cartridge with bullet. Worked for me, maybe it will help you too.

Get re-loaded fast, anywhere.
This kit has been around for almost a century for good reason. Often referred to as a "bug-out" item for it's compact, go anywhere size. It's a solid way to reload without all the expensive volume-production gear. I can knock out a few dozen .45 Colt rounds anywhere, anytime with accuracy and consistency. Catch up on the Bold and the Beautiful while you reload. For a fraction of the cost of a fresh box of ammo. I start to get into a groove quickly with the simple process and often reload more than planned. Perfect for a less popular (read more expensive) bullet like the .45 Colt. I wouldn't bother reloading my 9mm shells. They're ubiquitous and inexpensive. Grain scale is the only missing item. I have one. The scoop is perfect, but I like to check anyway. Trust but verify.

See the video.
Too soon. Just got it yesterday and have not used it. The how-to-video is good and Kee makes good reloading equipment.

Best starter reloading kit ever
If you're intrested in reloading at all this is a must for beginners. It costs less than a box of the same ammo and all you need is a rubber hammer, gun powder, primer and a bullet. Within minutes you can shoot a bullet and take the empty brass cartridge and using this simple kit that will fit in your coat pocket make another bullet and shoot it again. Buy this before spending money on a press
