All I can say is WOW!!
I have some logs from a very old maple tree which I wanted to cut up into blanks for turning on the lathe. I struggled with the electric chainsaw to get them into manageable sizes before switching to the band saw. But even cutting them on the band saw was difficult and took forever. The Timber Wolf 3 TPI blade was recommended by a friend and so I decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly, with detailed instructions for installing and tuning it for best performance. It looked very well made and was extremely sharp!I mounted the same 6" thick disc of maple on the saw which previously took me almost half an hour to cut through. This time, however, it cut easily, with no effort, and it took less than a minute! And the resulting cut was as smooth as I have seen after planing.I highly recommend these blades to everyone who is doing any kind of wood turning.

Cuts like butter!
I tied a couple different blades, looking for the best one to mill some logs on my old craftsmen band saw. The reviews for this blade are true! This blade cuts like butter! Threw it on and had no problem milling cedar logs. Not sure how it’ll do with harder woods though. Would highly recommend, stay away from the cheap ones and spend the money on Timber wolf!Update: was able to cut oak logs with no problem!

Like a new saw
As mentioned in other reviews, this blade makes me think I have a new Bandsaw. Cuts maple, mahogany, red oak and cherry like butter.

Didn't show up, bought another one.
The media could not be loaded. Mine didn't show up so I bought another one from a different vendor. Even though I didn't recieve this one, this blade still gets 5 STARS! It's night & day between this one and the $17 Olson ½" x 80" x 3TPI blade. The Olson one would constantly bind up (though I didn't have directions with the Olson blade...) but this one, with following the instructions provided, cuts through oak like butter and I can't even tell that I'm cutting when I push pine or cedar through. I'm a true saw dust junkie now! I can't stop cutting down trees and getting limbs and running them through my bandsaw! I have a million planks if live edge wood EVERYWHERE in my shop and even in my house of oak, applewood, elm, cedar, maple etc. etc. whatever I get my hands on I'm running it through and making stuff. Well I haven't really made anything other than a gazillion planks of wood so far but it's been awesome! I've found purple grain and bright green and orange and black to gold to purple again. Crazy pretty stuff. Soon I'll make something and it'll likely be a mix of all the prettiest stuff I've found! Anyhow, get one of these blades and say goodbye to your friends and family because your only friend will be your bandsaw for a while...

Worth the extra expense to bring an old saw back to life
I had previously bought a generic 1/2" 3 TPI Powertec hook tooth blade for my vintage '50s Craftsman band saw because, hey, it was $15 less and I don't use my bandsaw much. It would cross cut just fine, but even brand new it wouldn't rip for anything without bogging down my motor. And resawing? Forget it. So I used my bandsaw even less. I thought I'd have to replace the motor with an expensive 2 or 3 HP one just to get ripping capability on my saw. I saw some of the reviews for this blade while browsing, and figured I'd give it a shot since some have discovered that it wasn't their saw or motor that was the problem but a blade not suited to the task. So far it seems to vastly outperform the Powertec in terms of ripping and resawing. I'll be building a shop-made fence for my saw and putting the blade through its paces by resawing some oak for cabinet doors, but I don't expect to have much trouble with it. Should have saved myself the trouble and just bought this one in the first place!

Great, straight cut when re-sawing.
Just re-sawed 4/4 x 5in curly maple on an old 12in craftsman bandsaw and this blade handled it with ease! I used very minimal back pressure and after planing, ended up with 2 pieces of 3/8in thick maple. There is a video on YouTube comparing this blade to wood slicer and the timber wolf really struggled, not sure why he had any issues, but that was not my experience. If I was to offer one criticism that doesn’t affect the performance but it is one issue, the weld could be cleaned up a bit. The back of the blade is polished and then where the weld is it is very rough. Again, this did not seem to affect the performance and just takes a couple minutes with some sand paper to make it as smooth as the rest of the blade. Lastly, I was able to re-saw without cranking down the pressure, I had the 1/2 blade on the 3/8in setting and it worked great.

Amazing cut quality
I purchased this blade to try to improve the rate of cut and straightness of cut when resawing on a 40-year-old Craftsman 12" bandsaw. I tend to buy less expensive accessories for my workshop, but figured that I either needed to get a better cut from a better blade, or I'd need to replace the bandsaw. I was absolutely amazed at how well my old under-powered saw works with this new Timber Wolf blade. The cut time was reduced by 50%, and the cut was so straight and smooth that I didn't need to sand the surface. I don't normally gush about workshop items, but I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that it's worth every penny I spent.
