Genius invention: Escape proof dog harness that will not choke your dog or compress the windpipe
We bought our first one at a pet store in Ashville, NC. We have a dog that we rescued from an abusive situation and he is fearful of everything, every noise, every person, anything moving etc. He had escaped from us two times and we were very lucky to have found him both times. We found this harness / lead and wanted to give it a shot. We loved it, he can't escape from this harness. Since then we have purchased two more including the one I am reviewing that are for large dogs. We are part of a foster organization that takes in many abused and neglected dogs. Many of those dogs have high anxiety and fear levels and are flight risks. We had one escape from a traditional harness, so we knew we had to get another harness lead to prevent that in the future. The lead itself is extremely simple and the material is soft. If you have the lead properly 'sized' (the rubber stoppers in the correct spot for your dogs body), it will not choke your dog or improperly compress the bodies, risking injury to your animal. The hardest part is figuring out how to put the harness on. It comes with instructions and there are videos available online. It will take about five minutes to learn tops. There is one simple trick to remember.... Both of the black sliding rubber pieces that keep the neck loop in place and prevents compression of the windpipe should be on the same side of the dog as you go under his or her body to slide the 'handle' through woven loop. If you do that, you will have it on right. The other thing to remember is to push the rubber disc down to loop to prevent the harness from getting loose on your dog.It takes a little longer to put on your dog than snapping a leash to an already worn harness, but it is much healthier for your dog. This, worn properly will not cause windpipe compression that so many others will. The other BIG benefit to me is that when you take this off your dog, you will be able to pet his or her whole body. If you keep your dog in a harness all day long, it can be uncomfortable for your dog and you will not be able to pet some of the most desirable areas on your pet because the harness is in the way. This harness solves that problem.I have not seen anything like this on the market. People ALWAYS ask us what it is and where we got it. Almost all of my neighbors have purchased one for their dogs when I tell them why it's so good.

Night and Day Difference
We have two 50-60 lb dogs that are almost 3 years old. They walk on a leash very well, separately. But after getting the second dog recently, walks have become a real challenge. Together, they pull excessively to the point that walks are no fun. I've tried several collar and harness types. But none helped. I bought one of these to try it out, not expecting much. It made a difference within a few walks. So, I bought another one for the other dog. It's been a week of walking with both dogs on these no-pull harnesses, and the difference is amazing. I wouldn't say they never pull, because they are still young and still get excited when they see critters that they would love to chase. But even then, they are much easier to handle with these harnesses. Four mile walks are now fun again. The material and construction are rugged and comfortable. Need to hang them up out of reach of the dogs, because they are the type of materials that dogs love to chew on.

73 year old Mom can now my dog!
My dog is a 50lb part pit bull rescue from the streets. Pulls like crazy! Rips my arm off. He’s medium size but very solid and strong. He gets scared easily and tries to escape, dart off and back out of leash. I think he may have been tied up at one time so he sometimes associates that with his leash when he is trying to escape. I have had him for 2 years now and just thought I had to accept the fact that he will forever be horrible when I walk him UNTIL NOW! This leash is like night and day! The pulling has almost completely stopped but if he does pull it feels like nothing! He tried to back out too but was useless so he stopped. The harness gets tighter around the back part of their body if they pull or try to back out, it doesn’t choke them because it’s the body part that gets tighter so they back off. I literally can not stress enough how this leash has changed my life, so much so that my 73 year old mother can now walk him! It only took me 2 years to finally find the right leash. You won’t be disappointed!

Escape Resistant and Durable
I volunteer at an animal shelter and we use harness leads on all of the dogs (the pictures included are dogs from the shelter). Since the harness and leash are 1 piece it makes it extremely difficult (virtually impossible) for a dog to wiggle out of the harness. For the docile dogs we just use it as a slip lead but for the more energetic pups we harness them with the lead. Along with being escape resistant, the material holds up against daily use and frequent washings. However DO NOT put the leash in the dryer - the dryer causes the rubber pieces to break and fall off over time. Although they are a bit pricey I recommend the harness leads to everyone.

Great product once you finally get it on
The media could not be loaded. Everything is great about this product EXCEPT these ease of putting it on. It takes 2 people, lots of treats, and tons of screaming (from the pig...if you have one, you know). It literally sounds like we're trying to kill him because he freaks out so badly when we're trying to put this on him. I'm hoping that overtime, it will become easier as he gets used to it. Otherwise it's a great product and is very sturdy.

Easy to use, gave good control to a strong willed dog
My dog pulls and jerks and goes crazy when he sees other dogs. With this harness/lead I had much better control over him. He actually paid attention to me! Still far from perfect but this was just my first time using it.

A professional's favorite leash
I LOVE these leashes. I've been a professional pet sitter for 22 yrs and this is by far my favorite leash. It's escape proof and durable. I love how you can make the leash come from on top of the dog's shoulder or from the chest (which greatly reduces pulling). I've tried a ton of leashes and this one is the BEST!
