Very pleased- 5 star for Carolina Biological!
I purchased this for my daughter's classroom. She teaches biology and environmental science. She has started a Hermit Crab natural environment. This shell allows students to see the hermit crab in its transition to a new shell. It is VERY fragile. It is crystal clear and actually very pretty. It is small, so there is some concern that the larger crabs may not opt to move into it, but that will be determined in time. Carolina Biological shipped it well packed to protect it from damage of any kind. It arrived earlier than expected, too. It is a little pricey, but for hand blown glass, it seems fair. My daughter is thrilled and can't wait for her students to see hermit crabs in action.

Product is way to big for someone with reef tank ...
Product is way to big for someone with reef tank. Hermit crabs that big always knock over corals and such. Was expecting them to be half the size they were. $50 down the drain since I bought 2 of them! Buyers beware!

Don't throw stones at this glass house, your hermit crab won't like it.
Bought this for my sister who owns many hermit crabs this is a great gift for any crab owner..

Crabby Potter and a Glass Shell
Fast delivery and very pretty; I've placed it in my Hermit Crab habitat, I'm waiting to see if one of 4 moves in- So far no interest in occupying the glass shell. It's probably too smallMuch too small - never used
