Basically an MRE, designed for camping and backpacking or for eating at home when you don't want your cat freaking out because it hears the can opener. Better than most seasoned canned beans I've had, which is pretty much all I can say about them. Writing a hundred words on beans is really difficult. You try it.Good value for the money, would purchase again.

I'm always looking for convenient ways to add healthy veg-friendly protein in my diet and this Trini Chickpea Curry is the perfect solution. It's delicious and so easy to heat up and serve with rice or any other grain. I actually enjoyed eating it by itself as a meal or snack. I'm not the most adventurous eater but loved the flavor and spices in the curry. Highly recommend!

This has a pretty big aftertaste -- it tastes like it would if it had too much cumin (or -- a less likely scenario -- too much curry power). Also, when you first open the pouch after microwaving it, there's a bit of plastic-like smell.

I don’t like much rice or starch. I usually put this kind of thing over quinoa. But I ate this by itself and it was just the right texture to be eaten on its own! Really tasty! I have gotten it twice now. Great protein and good price!

Working in a busy office, it's not always easy to find time to have a warm meal. It took a minute and a half in my office microwave, and the flavor was fantastic. Will definitely order again

I love these curry chickpeas. They are not too spicy compared to most Indian curry dishes, they are convenient, and they are healthy. I check labels before I buy. I’m on the Bright Line Eating program, and these are perfect for road trips. Even took them camping. Not too much salt.

These taste good, don't taste salty. But after reading some other reviews, checked out the salt content and it's very high. Probably should have a low salt content option.

I love the convenience of these types of products but found the flavor of this one to be just o.k. Probably won't be ordering this particular variety again.
