We carry these for those times we want to head out into the dry lands for a stretch. They augment our regular water storage and stow away easily.Be careful with these! When full, they won’t stand up to being bounced around in vehicle. Strap them down!

These bottles are very similar to the big name bottles but for one important design feature: they have a narrower base. The "cube" has a 6" base. These have a 5" base. The distribution of water weight stabilizes on the wider base. When these bottles are full, they collapse sideways and can fall over because the weight is not supported evenly. I expect a much shorter life because this instability will stress the seams. I will go back to the original next time.

These appear to perform as stated. I've been using them for about 6 months and no leaks yet.

We finally got to use these during what we usually call a car-camping trip, meaning that we take stuff with us that we would normally not even consider taking when we go backpacking. I'm not sure how long these could last after a few uses. But they did work for this trip. We faced a couple of inconveniences with them.First, they condensed a lot on the outside! This is not a problem if you keep them in a plastic, container-type cooler. But we had one in a cooler thats a backpack and the bottom of the backpack got soaked as somehow the water from the condensation went through the insulation layers and the outside fabric. So would not recommend using these in fabric coolers; only in plastic ones.Second inconvenience we faced, I guess it had more to do with the weather we faced than the product itself. It was very hot during the day, at least for us here in the upper Midwest, about 90°F (somebody in Southern California or Arizona may laugh at that, but for us who are used to freezing temperatures in yhe winter, that is like scorching hot.) But the temperature dropped to about lower 60's during the night. The ice did not melt that much overnight. So we didn't have a lot of water to drink in the morning as we were hoping and needing. Only the bag we had kept in the backpack cooler was about 1/4 melted and we had to ration the water between two adults and a 7-year old. Not fun. I don't think I can fully blame the product for this. After all, it's physics. But you're basically left to chance. There's no way to know how long these are going to stay frozen. It depends on the weather and climate conditions.Either way, I found them convenient and they did the work, I guess. But what I truly don't like about them, good luck letting them dry completely. It's been days that I had left them to air dry because I have no idea how to get the remaining water out. I don't want to out home away and then find mold in them the next time we want to use them. The picture im attaching is from 7 days after the trip and it still has drops inside.Would I buy it again? Doubtful. Would recommend them? Yes, as disposable optionperhaps, which means washing your money.

We purchased these so we could bring our own water when we go camping (instead of using water bottles). They worked perfectly! We fill them most of the way with water and then freeze them. We use the frozen ones as ice in the cooler then drink the frozen water once they thaw. Has worked exactly as we though they would.One of them has sprung a leak at the seam - but I just used my sealer to seal the leak. Probably will look into replacing them next summer. But we are very happy with our purchase.

As others have stated these are very durable. They save me a lot of time from filtering city water every day. I opted for these because they flatten down as opposed to the more rigid ones because of the stress areas from folding. They fold completely flat. The handle is very sturdy, I know it will last a while, probably years if you take care of it. I soaked it in white vinegar and water overnight and there was no leftover plastic taste. Granted, it is plastic to there will be some micro plastics in your water if you store it in these but I dont think its much. I'm using it with my Sawyer filter. No it is not compatible with the threads of the sawyer brand filter or probably any others. Way to wide for that. But I hang it and let the hose fall into the bag it works just fine. I keep a few empty ones in my car in case of an emergency I can use them as dirty water filtration reservoirs. Many people ask if these will hold gasoline. Please just dont do that.

They are not tough, and I'm not at all sure what would happen if I dropped a full one on a hard floor and I'm definitely not going to run the experiment. I plan to use a couple for camping and picnicking, and for a bug-out situation where they can stay in my car and not face a lot of rough handling.They stand independently when full of water. So far they haven't leaked. They are easy to fill and pour from, and are very light on their own. If you need a tough, durable solution, these aren't it - you probably want metal jugs.Consider the limitations of the design and they are fine.Edit: they claim to be freezable. They are not. The ice will quickly poke holes in the plastic if they are moved at all. I was hoping to store these in a deep freeze to provide a reserve of cooling if the power went out and possibly emergency drinking water once melted - NOT suitable for that purpose.

I like that is takes no space. But its almost impossible to fill it in a stream. Need a tap or hose to fill it.

We use it instead of ice packs in coolers while camping. Fill it with filtered water and freeze. Holds ice very well, and once it thaws we have a supply of drinking water. The only downside is to dry them out in between trips. With the bag design it takes days to get all the moisture out.

We bought these for the purpose of our camping trip where we had to pack our water supply. I liked that it didn't leak, was easy to fill up.I was sure to rinse it with water before use, and upon filling it i didn't taste any plastic taste so that was good!After washing it though, it was tough for it to dry. I left it open and it took 10 days for them to dry!

Extremely convenient, no space issue during packing. A must have for camping, Overlanding & Outdoor activities. So far they have survived the usage with no cracks or leakage.

I expected some colored ones but the ones sent were all clear. Not a bad product. Will have to see how they hold up.
