Constant crying
This series presented a good continuing story. But the main character, Virginia, was such a weak person that by book 4 it was really annoying. She was constantly either weeping, crying, sobbing, or feeling tears rolling down her cheeks. Her "best friend" Jenny was no friend at all. Virginia allowed Jenny to bully and use her as a doormat throughout. She had no backbone. Fortunately her husband Jonathan had both a strong faith and a backbone to stand up for his family.

Virginia'story ends
This was a sweet way to end this series. Jeanette knows hot to perfectly integrate the families trials with God's perfect plan. I grew to love Virginia's character and convictions. Her servants heart and strength. This was the hardest book to put down. I will miss Virginia and her beautiful family.

Very goo story with very bad editing
Ms Oke is one of my favorite authors and I loved this story. My problem and why I marked it down was because of the editing of this e book. It was terrible. I hope the hard copies were not like this or I would have taken it back to get my money back. Chapter 3, page 35, 2nd sentence, "The birthday was to be celebrated on a Saturday after? noon, which didn't . . ." Chapter 3, page 39, As the last piece of birthday cake was served with home? made ice cream, Johnathan managed . . . Same paragraph - "Do you want to clean up before Mindy get her pres? ents?" This goes on 83 (counted and noted) more times and once more in the Epilogue! Words were constantly broken up by questions marks. This does not help in the flow of reading a book as after awhile you are looking for the mistakes instead of absorbing the story. I had hoped better of an Oke book. Does anyone read these before they are released to the public?

Wonderful series
This has been such a wonderful and inspiring series. There were several times I was brought to tears with the struggles of Jenny and her waywardness. Such an inspiration series.

A very moving conclusion of the Prairie Legacy
I inherited the first two books in this series from my Mother and discovered I had to know the 'rest of the story' about Virginia and her friend Jenny. I wish I had started reading this author's work long before now. If you like good clean writing with a Christian perspective, you will not be disappointed.

Inspiring Book and Series
I really enjoyed this book - one where a person hates to put it down. One has to keep reading it to see what happens! The lesson learned is to keep trusting in God. He always knows best.

Heartwarming story
In my opinion, I felt this was the best book in the series. A great but tearful ending. The character, Virginia, is truly a godly mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter and friend. Janette Oke can certainly evoke a variety of emotions in the reader of this series. What I didn't enjoy in the Kindle version was the many question marks that were printed in the middle of words and the book title inserted in numerous sentences. It momentarily interrupted the flow and enjoyment of the story.

It's been a long time since I've cried this...
hard over a set of books! What an amazing author!I wish I could let her know how much this set has meant to me.But I know she's busy with her life, as we all are.Life is constantly changing, but sometimes it's hard to always be happy about that. And completely giving control over to God is hard, too.In a perfect world, neither would be so hard.Looking forward to that perfect world!God Bless you all!

Great read
The last book in this series and it was even better than the previous ones. Great Christian teaching as well.

The End
What a glorious set of books and a lovely way to finish the story, although I wish there had been a trackback to Missie who moved West with her family. Love; faith; family and friends. What more could we ask for as readers? So glad I found all the series.
