It's pretty good once you get the positioning right for the suction to work but it is fiddly and the hair catcher only works with it if the drain well is deep enough or it comes unstuck easily. I have resorted to using without the hair catcher I bought this to go with.

This doesn't work to keep the water in our ceramic tub. There is no suction and no way to get a vacuum going to help the thing stay stuck to the surface. Sadly useless. Packaging needs to be destroyed to open, so cannot return.

It’s not a big risk buying this and hoping you’ll be one of the lucky ones. I’m delighted. Oh and its subtle design that allows it to work is also very cute. I’m in the bath as I’m typing this. Thank you for allowing me my first bath in six months. I should add that I was having showers.

The idea is GREAT, but the suction is not, as slowly losing water in the bathtub within 5-10 minutes.price is too high, if you need something similar, just get a PoundLand plunger and push it in... will do the same to hold the water in a bathtub and such.

If you're looking for an expensive cup for your kids to play with in the bath then this is for you! If you're looking for something to stop your toddler draining all the bathwater by accidentally/deliberately sitting on the pop-up plug look elsewhere. Doesn't suction well and the single sucker on a tab to keep it in place is far too tempting for children to pull. Two stars as has become favourite bath toy, even if otherwise completely useless.

We had a problem getting a bathroom plug as the plug hole is an unusual size.This solved all our problems and I would recommend it to anyone
