Birkenstock Womens Shoes Deluxe Shoe Care Kit

Bought for Arizona sandals, suede footbed. The cleaner is okay, the brush is honestly awesome and worth the whole purchase (I haven’t yet tried the waterproofing spray or the cork sealer). My footbeds feel so soft and fresh and much of the grimy staining is gone. Hooray!

The product arrived quickly. There were no paper instructions, but there were directions on the sides of the bottles. I didn’t like the way the products smelled but that is just something I noticed.As you can see by the pictures, there cleaner did a good job of cleaning the footbed. I used the brush to scrub the footbed with the cleaner then wiped out with a clean cloth. The cork spray made the sides nice and shiny. I have applied the water and stain repellent but haven’t tested it out yet.I will say that the bottoms of the white straps that had red mud on them did not come out with the cleaner. I had to use a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Overall good product.

Waterproof/resistance: I got this entire kit primarily to help lock in the color on my Birks so that they'd stop staining the top/sides of my feet. The water resistance spray seems to have done nothing at all as, more than 2 days after treating all sides of the suede straps and letting it fully dry, my feet get stained teal as much, if not more, than before applying the spray.The Cork Sealer, after drying, remained very tacky/sticky for several more days. Keep that in mind if wearing them around pet hair, dirt, etc. in the days following application.I see this same kit sold by a lot of stores, so I guess it's an official Birkenstock product, but it feels cheap and, as mentioned, the results have been a waste of money. Giving it 2 stars in the hope that the cleaner and brush will actually help, when I eventually need to use those...but I am concerned that those elements will either not help or somehow make my sandal situation worse.

Decided to get this to give my Birkenstocks a little "service" and I must say they looked fantastic afterwards. If you're interested in treating your footwear as an investment rather than an expenditure or consumable then this is the perfect set or gift.

Very happy with this selection … all easy to use and ready when the need arises either for maintenance or an emergency clean up job
