Ordered months ago--had cataracts removed--after I finish 2 other paintings, I will complet--be forewarned--many tiny places--not enough paints!

I gave this four out 5 stars mainly on the paint! If you order this the paint comes in a dense form. You need to add a few drops of water to thin it out to make the paint smoother and easier to apply. I hope this tip helps others in other diy kits too! Happy painting.

OK, to start with the canvas is awesome, the brushes...very good for a paint by number. Now, the sad part. I've been painting with various paints for the better part of 45 years and this paint is some of the worst I've ever tried to deal with. When you open the container it starts with the constancy or thick wood glue. So I did what most hobbisits would do with acrylic paint, I used a few drops of water. The constancy became almost tar-ish. So I used acrylic thinner, that I have been using for years, and the constancy became...glue like. After way too much time trying to thin the paint I finally got a texture that was somewhat useable. By usable I mean use it fast because the glue constancy comes back very, very, fast. In summary...the paint sucks, which is a shame because the rest of the kit is really awesome...but a pint by number with bad paint is like a car with bad rods. Hopefully the company will figure out how to fix this problem.

This is my first ever PBN, and so there was a learning curve to it for me. Now that I know that I love this craft, I've invested time learning how to elevate each experience. If any of y'all would like to learn more about this, check out "Melanie B's Creative" channel on YouTube :)Some of the paints were a bit sheer, but most of the colors that were sheer were colors that are commonly sheer no matter what. This was easily fixed by a second coat for nearly all colors, and after deep diving into PBN information, I now know how to combat it from the start. Again, there's more tips and tricks about this on Melanie's channel!My only complaint is that two pots of colors that made up a large majority of the picture were only partially filled. I didn't realize that frequent PBN painters "start off" by thinning there paint down a bit (with eitehr water, or in my case for all future paintings,a paint flow aid). I was about 4/5 through with the painting when I realized that I might not hve enough paint to complete my picture. I emailed Ledgebay late one nate, and they responded to me by noon the next day! They immediately asked for my address, and they promptly sent me another paint set! I was so happy with their customer service that I will ABSOLUTELY be purchasing from them again.For those that are concerned with having too little paint, please don't be! Many of the paints were quite thick, and I should've thinned them out prior to use. If I had done so, I would've had PLENTY of paint (please note that if you choose to thin your paint out with water or flow aid, only administer a drop at a time, stir it around until well combined, and then test it on your canvas. You don't want to thin it out too much)! Most of my pots of paint still 1/2 to 3/4 of the paint remaining. And if you run into a problem, Ledgebay has 5-star customer service!!

it's very relaxing and therapeutic and I highly recommend painting to anyone experiencing a lot of stress. So, the kit comes with pre-mixed paint and most of them match but many of them don't. For example, the flowers in the painting I was looking forward to the vibrant purple - but instead the flowers are blue. Also, this painting has some intricate details that require a high quality very small brush. The brushes included get the job done, but the ones that are small are so small that even one misaligned brush hair can mess up the brush strokes when you're painting. I'm giving it three stars because what you see in the photo is NOT what you get, I'd give it 5 stars if the brushes were higher quality and if the paint colors actually matched the picture.

The media could not be loaded.  Amazon is asking what I liked or disliked and what I use this product for. When I ordered this, I liked the picture I thought it would look really pretty as a paint by number. What I dislike is it will never be a paint by number because I can’t use the paint. And as for what I am using absolutely freaking nothing now his pants are so dry I can’t do anything with them

The canvas is 16' X 20" but there is no border material to wrap around a 16 X 20 frame to staple on the back. The picture is 15 1/2 X 19 1/2. There is no way to mount this on a standard 16 X 20 frame. The paint does not cover the canvas well. I had to paint everything twice which has me worried I will run out of paint as the paint containers are much smaller that other paint kits of this size.Overall a lousy product that is far from satisfying.

Das Bild ist richtig gut geworden. Abbildung entspricht dem Endprodukt, was ja auch nicht selbstverständlich ist. Pinsel waren okay, Farben hatten auch eine ganz gute Qualität. Man musste mind. 2 mal drüber, damit es ordentlich deckt, aber das war bisher bei wirklich allen Herstellern so, die ich ausprobiert habe- auch teure Deutsche. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, gutes Ergebnis.
