Great bed, great company
I order this bed for my Great Dane. I originally received the wrong bed. However within minutes of issuing a complaint to amazon, I got an email and a text message. They rushed shipped the correct bed and allowed me to keep the wrong bed for my puppy until A WHOLE DAY after I got the correct bed, just so that he wouldn't have to go without a proper bed. Once the correct bed arrived I was more than happy with it. The bottom pad is a little bit thinner than I would liked as I have hardwood floors but my Dane doesn't seem to notice. He especially loves resting his head on the couch like arm rests which are the best feature of this bed. They are built very solid, and support his head and neck very well. The fabric looks like good quality, they put the seams in the back as well as a zipper, which is great for my rough and tumble pup. He is six months old, and growing by the minute but only takes up a little over half the bed. It's a nice size for a Dane, and I'm optimistic that he won't he out grow it. Overall I'm really happy with this bed, and mistakes happen as they originally shipped me the wrong bed, however i'm so pleased to have dealt with a company that was so understanding and quick to correct it that it leads me to believe that it was a once in a million mistake. And, they handled the mistake so well, i couldn't thank them enough. We're all human, but the pure respect for my puppy, and not demanding I ship the bed back before issuing me the right one shows me this company truly understands that dogs are a part of the family, and I'm very happy to have given my money to them. Great bed, great company, I would recommend this bed to all my Dane owning friends.

Great bed, but perfect with a bit of modification.
Awesome pet bed,my 135lb Rhodesial Ridgeback loves it. Nice colors, great materials, and a heavy solid wrap around pillow for your big dog, or a bunch of small ones.As others have noted, the eggcrate foam making up the sleeping surface is a bit on the thin size. I'd give it 4 stars as is. Still niceand for several little dogs it would be perfect.BUT, with a piece if 2" memory foam on top of the eggcrate foam this is now a 5 star bed, the nicest pet bed I've every had for my big puppy. And now that he's 5, he's had quite a few. Where did I get the memory foam you ask? Well, I bought a memory foam topper for my spare bed when my RR was just a puppy, While I was at work, he decided to see how many small pieces of foam he could make from a queen mattress topper. He got tired after tearing up about 2'x2' of one corner. After I calmed myself and bagged up all the foam pieces, I squared it up with scissors and stored the big pieces. When this arrived, I cut the memory foam to the same size as the eggcrate foam. I slid the memory foam in the cover on top of the eggcrate and wow, I think I could sleep comfortably on this thing now in a pinch.I did a quick search for 2" memory foam topper twin and found a couple on Amazon for around $35. This pet bed with the added cost of the topper is still a bargain.

Great size for our Rhodesian Ridgebacks (100lb) We ordered two
Great size for our Rhodesian Ridgebacks (100lb) We ordered two, one for each dog.We had delivery problems with one of the beds - went missing in Oregon!! - money was refunded, so we had to reorder. We did put additional padding underneath as the bed base is not really very thick for heavy dogs. The dogs love them and they snuggle into the bolsters which are on three sides.Seems like sturdy fabric and manufacture. Time will tell(??)

Total relaxation
The Baxter Couch is fantastic, wish we had it earlier. It took our Lab a few days to check it out, and now she loves it, heads right for it at bedtime. She has never snored before of any duration, and I believe the bed really relaxes her so she does get into deep sleep patterns. Her natural sleep relaxation is her nose on one end cushion and her tail touches the other end cushion, in other words, she stretches out and is relaxed. On the downside, the bottom of the bed is too thin and the cushioning lacks. Thank you, Terry

... ordered two of these dog beds for my 2 Great Danes. My dogs LOVE them
I ordered two of these dog beds for my 2 Great Danes. My dogs LOVE them. They resemble my pit group in my living room. They love that it comes with arm/head rests. It has been a challenge trying to find beds that they like and won't tear up. So far so good!! I highly recommend these beds!****UPDATE AS OF 9-22-17****Well, I thought it was too good to be true. Both bed zippers have busted. VERY DISAPPOINTED as I spent the money on two of these! The interior of these beds are basically something I could have sowed in! WOW, can't believe they charge this much for their beds!

Not durable enough for a great dane's weight
Not durable enough for a great dane's weight. The sides are not sturdy as in the photo. After the dog lays on them a few times, they collapse to almost flat. Bed also needs to be thicker for the weight of these dogs. Note: my dog is a medium sized great dane at 125lbs.

Not as big or as I cushiony as I'd like for my older dog.
We've had this bed for a couple of weeks now. The Great Dane in the photo on this website must be a puppy. We have an 8-year-old, 120-pound Great Dane/Akita mix. She barely fits on the bed; her length takes up the entire sitting area. She only fits if she puts her rump at one end and then lies down, which she rarely does (she tries to sit in the middle of the bed and then lie down). I took out the bolster pillows and made it a flat bed with no headrest, and now it's big enough for her.The quality of the cover seems good. However, I'm not sure the egg crate foam really provides much cushion. It's thinner than I thought it would be. We have to tell her to get on the bed; she will choose to lay on the floor otherwise. If I had it to do over, I'd try to find a larger bed with orthopedic foam.
