Anyone can pick up this book and use it easily, it's extremely user-friendly. As you work through the pages, you see that you actually already have everything you need to live a full and complete life. "Getting to Good" just lays everything out for you in an engaging, insightful and fun way. The quotes in each section are also wonderful pearls of wisdom. Would recommend to anyone who wants to bring a little smile and sunshine back into their life. Makes a great gift for someone you love too.

This is perfect for using alongside therapy
This book really helps you get to good. You need to work through the things and not just ignore them and that is what this book does! My therapist recommended a guided Journal Since when I came in it just was hard for me to start off and find things to talk about because at the time there was just so much to talk about. She really liked this one and now recommends it to others. This book is not all cute and fun (some things are) but it actually helps your work through your issues to get to a better place overall! This helps you bring true peace in your life!

Getting to Good: A Guided Journal is more than good, it's great!
I got this book a week before I was having surgery and it was such a lifesaver. It kept me busy and focused on positive things so I didn't experience nearly as much anxiety as I would have otherwise. It was also a nice activity for my healing time afterward. I keep a container of colored pens by this book and write in it daily-ish. It's a wonderful self-care practice that I look forward to. The book is beautiful! It has soothing colors, illustrations and large quotes that set off journal prompts and other fun exercises. In places where I am not filling out all the lines for journaling, I plan on putting some pictures in. I can see this as being a treasured keepsake.

I like this workbook and that you can easily jump around with whatever chapter you need help with the most.

This may or may not be for you
I like this journal alright. However, some of the journal topics and activities are a little much for someone who is working towards feeling better. I wish there were more topics that were just plain fun and didn't require so much soul searching. This journal would be better for someone who is already in an okay place with themselves.

I've only owned this book since the end of November, and it's now January 6 when I am writing this review. I only have like 30 pages left and I'm saying this because I find the prompts to be addicting. It's so helpful to share my thoughts and feelings and leave them inside this journal rather than carrying the weight of my problems around with me. It's very insightful and helps you observe your thoughts to understand why you are feeling the way you feel, and what you can do to resolve the issue or reframe it. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure about it first based on the photos of the interior, but it looks super nice in person.
