Kirkland Signature Dried Ca. Apricots,20oz

I love California apricots and have such a hard time finding them in my area. These are delicious and will definitely order again!

I've been buying these apricots from Costco every chance I get. Last few times I've been, Costco hasn't had them. I figured I'd try Amazon. I was pleased when I found them on Amazon and received them today. Although the Best By date is March of 2018 (5 months from now), when I opened the package, the apricots had a really foul smell. They're all very dark in color and look strange. I'm pregnant so it's not worth chancing it for me. Not sure if they were stored in a hot place or what happened, but they're definitely not right. Bummed that I had to throw over $20 away.

I've tried 5 or 6 different bags of apricots on amazon, and these are the worst so far.I opened the bag and had a whiff and almost immediately tossed them in the bin.I did try one and it was very sour tasting. In my opinion, not a good sour, but like a bad, gone off, chemically sour taste.I did read some reviews and people did mention the sourness. I guess 'chacun a son gout' applies here, so I wont give it one star, but that is my inclination.

Yummy, tart with a hint of sweetness and very affordable!

Assuming I was buying apricots and ONLY apricots,I bought Signature Apricots without first reading the package.It was disappointing to read that OIL is one of the ingredients.
