Amazing Drapery Hardware High Profile Wand Tilt Control 2ct - 1/4” Square Hole Heavy Duty Metal Mechanism for 2" Horizontal Blinds

I tried several different brands to replace the turnstile for blinds. Only one that worked. My wood blinds are over 30 years old. Fit perfectly and easy to replace ( a little tugging to get off internal rod) but really easy. So happy I replaced rather than bought new ones.

I didn’t have to replace the blinds. It was easy to install and all working less than 10 minutes.

Easy to install,Actually works in 2" 3-day blinds and is built with thicker metal than the original unit. So very very happy.

Picked this up to wash back of truck trailer. Was looking for a brush that I can do that as well as not be too tough on the bristles as to scratch the trailer. Worked out great and because it is wide able to wash everything in no time. Highly recommend

BEWARE - THE DIRECTION OF CLOCKWISE/COUNTERCLOCKWISE TWIST FOR UP/DOWN TILT MAY BE OPPOSITE THE ORIGINAL MECHANISM.Otherwise, it was a perfect fit for 30-year-old broken tilt mechanism. Slid right into the existing blinds.

We used these to replace the wand tilt mechanism on our 20+ year old Levelor high profile wooden blinds. After watching a few videos that addressed how to order the proper mechanism type, how to remove the blinds from the window, and how to replace the mechanism, it was fairly simple to do. For me the sticking point came not with the device replacement , but with the awkwardness and weight of working with the double width blinds, themselves. Make sure to raise your blinds before you remove them from their window mount! My husband handled his fairly easily , but I had to enlist my daughter to help me remove and then lift the other into place. We did have to enlarge the opening on the hook at the bottom to accommodate the wand opening. Be careful with the ends of the blind header - they are pretty sharp after you remove the stretcher caps. We gouged a footboard pretty significantly when we altered the position the blinds on a bed.Huge savings in cost and time not to have had to purchase and mount two new sets of blinds!

Easy to install on hunter douglas, seems sturdy, but disappointed the gearing is opposite all my other blinds. May return depending on how much this annoys me.

A first I thought it wouldn't fit my 25 year old 3-day blinds high profile 2" blinds, but after some wiggling and making sure everything was straight and aligned it works better than it did before. I only needed one, but I am pretty happy with my purchase.
