Wire 3-Tier Hanging Basket - Chrome by Danesco

I have had this product for about 3 months now and I am extremely happy with it. The links seem to be very strong, it hangs evenly and looks like it will last for many years to come. This is what I typically put in my basket and it works great and it doesn't look like it's straining to hold the items or anything. The top basket: 3 bunches of garlic, a couple limes and a couple lemons and I also keep seasoning packets up there too (Au Jus, Taco, etc). The second basket: I usually have 3-4 large onions and 4-5 medium potatoes. The Bottom Basket: A bunch of bananas, 3-4 large apples and usually 3-4 smaller fruit like plums, peaches,etc. My basket is packed all the time and it works great. I love it! I do not miss my "basket of fruit, onions, etc" that I had on the table because it took up so much room. I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed. The only reason I'm disappointed is because I didn't buy it sooner. :-)

I love this basket. It's sturdy and stylish. The hook is strong, and the baskets hold a lot of produce. However, It hangs a bit too high to the kitchen ceiling to reach the top basket. I am quite tall, so this is usually not a problem. If it would hang 4-6 more inches lower, I would have rated it 5 stars.Update 4/17/12: I still like the basket. It has held up to some really full, heavy produce an still looks new. I still wish it could hang a little lower from the ceiling. I am very tall, but have trouble reaching the top basket.

I've had my baskets for about a week now, I have some stuff in each basket and no problems. It holds several pounds of onions, fruit, and tomatoes easily. I was a little wary after reading some of hte other reviews, especially some on a similar-looking item that was by a different brand/company but I haven't had any problems. It seems sturdy and works great for the purpose I ordered it for. Sure it may break if you overload it, but for light to moderate loads it seems fine. I'd buy another one if I had more room in my kitchen.

I agree with the other negative reviews regarding the strength of the chains. I had three oranges, two apples, two limes, 3 lemons and 1 avocado in the baskets and that was enough weight to break one of the chains. I wasn't too disappointed because I half expected it and it is really easy to replace the chains. You just need to consider the additional expensive of buying sturdy chains. I spent about 8 dollars. Now the baskets are great. Not a big deal but you just need to know what to expect on the front end.

I had hoped to be able to put a sack of potatoes in the lower basket, but this assembly is nowhere near strong enough to support the weight. We're going with some onions and fruits in modest quantities. Delivery was timely and the product is in great shape, just weak metal.

looks great, but like other reviewers, I've had the chains break several times and am working on replacing them. If you want this holder, it may be a good idea to also stop at a home improvement store and get some chains to save yourself from having to chase produce all over your kitchen.

This product has turned out to be exactly what I needed. I was not expecting much since some have stated that the chains are horrible and others stated that it broke quickly. However, I am now able to store my onions, potatoes, and sweet potatoes in it and it is working fine. It's also somewhat attractive (and better than a mesh alternative I considered). I would recommend.

A bit touchy when trying to adjust the level for each basket, but it works just fine and is eminently adjustable to your needs. I combined this with a simple lightweight chain to extend down to the proper height below the ceiling (make sure the chain is rated for the weight you expect to carry in total).

Great little basket for cheap. Holds my food.
