Perfect to keep the birds out
I had unwanted bird tenants nesting in our vents, so after they vacated I jumped into action by adding a screen on the exterior to prevent the next crop from entering. It has worked like a charm! I was looking for an inexpensive solution and these were perfect. They were easy to cut and fit just perfectly!

Sturdy and inexpensive...but not the size I expected.
I made the mistake of not reading the size of the item on the page and ordered the grill because it says "DRYER VENT SCREEN" in the title of the item. When I received the item, I found I had enough grill to cover 4 dryer vents and no way to cut the grill to make it work for one. I am waiting for a friend to bring metal cutting scissors.These are very inexpensive and sturdy but be prepared for what you are purchasing.
