it works, safe for other predators that prey on rats/mice
Put in a rat feed dispenser with chicken feed and they eat. Has really cut down population

Useless
This did not work at all. I think rodents are too smart to fall for this and will not choose to eat it.

I think it works
I do believe this is working to some degree.Although, it did take some time.It took almost two months to see some results.Maybe the rats were suspicious? But I have noticed less rat activity. And I did find two rat heads in the yard. But not the rest of them.Did a neighbor cat finish off the rats and leave the heads?Or find the rats and decide it didn't like rat heads?I don't know.I thought the price was a little high for what it was.But I could not find this exact item at the local diy/home improvement store.I purchased the same brand bait box to use with this.

rolls down holes better than pellets
I have used a lot of the pellet version of this product with good results except when I can't get the pellets down the hole and out of the rain. This version lends itself to rolling down a hole and is less likely to be rained on or lost in the dirt.Despite the label, I do worry about pets eating this product. I can drop a disc in the garage floor for the night and pick it back up easily the next morning. Pellets would tend to get kicked and scattered, potentially to be found by the puppies.

Non-toxic to other life and that's the whole point
I feel your pain fellow rat-sufferers. They've invaded my house in the past, they may have killed my beloved lemon tree this year. When they strike one wants to see them dead as soon as possible. It is tempting to buy something highly toxic like bromethalin or an anti-coagulant rodenticide. Resist the urge. In the end having such a dangerous product in your home or yard and the risk it poses to other animals or even humans in not worth the faster action. It took some time to get the rodents to take the rat pellets. And I was frustrated to find them chewing little bits off a dozen pellets and scattering them around the yard, worried the amount they were ingesting may be insufficient. But I do believe it's working, the numbers truly seem diminished after a couple weeks.Oil or a small amount of peanut butter did increase palatability but they would chew the outside of the pellets and leave a lot of bait behind-- that being said I do think some of them got a toxic dose from this because again, the amount of activity in the yard and new rat feces is less and less.I am excited about leaving this product out all the time in bait boxes. And, I placed one out in a tray along with pellets and it was completely gone-- I suspect it was probably carried off to a nest. I have a feeling these discs may be more palatable without any additives that may make the product more effective. So yes, this product isn't going to be a 1-2 day kill like with some other products. But you can sleep easier not worrying you're going to kill wildlife, cats or dogs through accidental ingestion or secondary poisoning from eating deceased rodents.Calm yourself, be patient and don't resort to highly toxic baits that are harmful to the ecosystem, a danger to your loved ones and impossible to safely dispose of. At least that's where I am in the struggle for now.

Make some deadly cuisine
Mice wouldn’t touch this until I ground a few up with some peanuts then mixed it all up with peanut butter. I just put a glob of the mix on a plate and they loved it. Put some out for a couple days until no more was eaten and no more mice!

Dissolved too soon
Dissolved in the bait station before the rats got to them, leaving what looked like a powdery mess. Only took less than 24hrs to dissolve. (No the bait did not get wet nor were they exposed to the sun)
