Makes a good straight edge. Load up pad with paint from brush. Only downside it leaves a small gap from ceiling so if you paint ceiling first make sure to overlap and go down on wall. Otherwise you will get a small line of previous color between wall and ceiling.

Works as well as any other edger... very poorly. It may work well if you don't have popcorn ceilings, but I ended up just using tape.

The primary purpose of me buying this was to reach areas of my vaulted ceilings which I simply could not reach with my 16 foot extension ladder.I noticed that this edger had the ability to interface with a standard extension pole so I decided to give it a try along with additional pads.First off, I should mention that I have been using the Shur-line for years and realize that using these types of a products is a skill all in its own.The Warner upon initial appearance has a sturdier look which translates over to how it feels. What appears to be the handle in the picture is where the pole screws in. I would recommend using this edger with some sort of a pole as by itself, it could easily be dropped - it isn't designed to be a well grip-able handle. Some may view this has a negative and deduct a star but for what I intended on using this for, didn't impact me whatsoever.Regarding use, there appears to be less likelihood to get paint on the ceiling when using this product. The pads measure about 1/16 of an inch shorter to where paint doesn't easily get on the rollers of the edger and transfer onto your ceiling. I was able to use this with an 8 foot extension pole while standing on an extension ladder and successfully edge walls in my house that approach 20 feet in height.
