I just started to go back to using my old felt socks until I found these. Wow, easy to clean good value , cut my cleaning time down a lot. The old fashion felt material might still have a place but I’m happier with theses Nylon socks

Doesn’t fit perfectly, but I’m assuming thats with all these mesh bags. I’ve ordered from BRS and SaltwaterAquarium and theirs don’t fit perfect either. I assume they’re all the same manufacturer at this point and its just branding.Super easy clean tho, quick rinse off in my sink. Each bag (75 micron) last about 3-4 days before needing to replacing. I have 4 now to switch out between each cleaning, but about to order 2 more as a backup.Quality seems good other than the slight mm off from fitting snug in my ice cap 36xl sump sock holder. I’ve cleaned it several times and it seems to hold up very well.I really like the length of the bag. It lets the bag run longer while capturing a lot of tiny particles to keep the water clear.Update!!: just a little over 4 mo of use and they started to fall apart and tear. I do not recommend.

Decent mesh filter socks, but the length is a bit much.

My water is pretty clear and clean in my 200 gallon reef (bare bottom). But these filters clog up within 2-3 weeks not allowing water to pass and spilling over unfiltered in my sump. They clean fairly easily but it's getting a bit tedious to clean every 2 weeks. 200 micron felt socks never backed up and didn't allow water to pass, only got dirtier and dirtier as time went on.

I use this to occasionally and filter my aquarium after shaking the gravel about, and it does a beautiful job!

These are far superior to the felt socks IMO. They trap the crud and are sooooo easy to clean. Never again with those felt socks, I’m a convert.

Just okay, one ring is a small and does snap in as it should.

I liked that they were made of a different material.
