Tapping into the new sharing economy
Nathan Latka hits on some prescient points concerning the new economy in this quick and fascinating read. The US has been moving towards a more service-industry economy for decades, but the tech revolution in particular has been a game changer. It has opened the doors to new wealth and innovation while seriously challenging the old economy. To join the "New Rich", Nathan suggests you only need two ingredients: ambition and a desire for more free time (p 11). He has some great psychological insights into why traditional thinking is mired in the old economy: people set goals, for instance, instead of developing systems (Chapter 3). More great insights into fear and other motivators in Chapter 5. The book is peppered with all sorts of interesting anecdotes, using real life business examples to illustrate his points. I especially enjoy Nathan's openness, a rarity among successful entrepreneurs. Many people who achieve great success slam the door behind them. Nathan, on the other hand, lays out his processes and gives you step-by-step examples that you can apply to your ventures. I love to travel, and Chapter 7 is a lot of fun. (Also great abs Nate!) I won't give away all the details (you need to pick up a copy for yourself), but the real estate section was particularly interesting. I have a friend who buys rental properties but refuses to mortgage them. Honestly, with low interest rates, money is cheap, and tying up more than necessary in "cash cows" doesn't make economic sense if you can earmark that for other systems. Nathan makes a point of turning what many consider traditional liabilities (homes, mortgages, mortgages on rental properties) into assets. Nathan makes a point over and over again that you must create passive income: not all of this income is revolutionary, novel, or glamorous, but passive income is absolutely essential to freeing you up to do what you love in your free time. There is much to love here, and Nathan has some great insights into investing. One of the ways is to reverse-engineer others' systems (Chapter 11), an idea not unlike following the smart money (looking into how PE firms, Berkshire, and so forth are investing). To have been a college dropout, Nathan is quite a writer; I like the succinct, athletic style. He might be the Hemingway of the business book world! Highly recommended!

Incredibly Incisive, Useful and Sensible
The author is not greedy, and is in fact, extremely generous, and does not hold back on the knowledge he imparts. I've barely made it to half of the book and already I'm here gushing over this book because it's an absolute gem. Nathan gets to the point quick, shows proof, and best of all, show you not just what to do but how to do it, in explicit detail. To say it's actionable is an understatement. What I really love about the book is the incredible lessons, paired with a grounding in theory and lessons from past masters, then consolidating them into a cohesive package that delivers what it promises. Everything that can be taught to you is taught to you, and you need only apply it. If you fail at these, it's only because honestly, you didn't apply them. Not only are the lessons direct, but some can indeed be counterintuitive, and not for the sake of shocking readers, but because it really makes sense. The foundation (like building systems, etc.) are invaluable, and it's like all the greatest and best lessons in the many books he recommends are not distilled but packed into the pages of this book, so you can benefit from all of them.I seldom enjoy and learn from a source like this, and so glad to have found it.

A refreshing book on building wealth in today's world!
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I found Nathan's pragmatic approach appealing and rather unique for books with this theme. It has a lot of useful information and, in a more general sense, a great mindset to utilize the emerging tools and services we are using in this age. It's refreshing to see that one doesn't necessarily have to go through the conventional route of investment to build wealth.Putting aside the parts that came across as show off and somewhat narcissistic, I really appreciate Nathan's bold take on this topic and in defining the New Rich. Also, this is the most highlighted book on my Kindle right now so I'm definitely going through it over multiple times. Might be a good idea to have it in a hard copy instead.

Unprecedented and actionable!
As an entrepreneur/Attorney, I tend to buy books focused on business and creating/growing wealth. Of those books, I'm lucky if I get halfway through before I lose interest. It's not that their content does not offer great value, it's just, frankly, the authors don't excite me enough to stay engaged. Nathan has changed the game. Period. Not only is he far more candid in expelling his secrets that got him where he is, he consistently encourages you (the reader) to follow the same path. Further, he gives templates of emails, draft documents, proposals, and basically anything you can imagine to replicate as you go off and create your own empire. His suggestion of "sell pickaxes to miners" is my new mantra, and as a result, I already have a business in early development that follows his thinking. I actually signed up for Audible just so I could listen as I'm driving, because 1) I can't put the book down, and 2) I want to re-read/listen to some segments (yes, Mr. Bezos, this guy is increasing multiple revenue streams for you). Honestly, I hope at least one person reads this review, because I seldom write any. The book is unprecedented, actionable, and worth it's weight in gold. Thank you, Nathan. You lit a fire under me at a time when it was really needed.

Clickbaity? Hell no
At first I was wondering “how can you be a capitalist without any capital?” Is this just a clickbaity title to lure us into buying this book?Nathan just overpromised. And over delivered. I read this book in two days because of how good and valuable it is.It brings a step by step approach on how to increase your revenue streams (also with screenshots of how he did it himself)Also it is a mindset book, which makes you sharper and more in tune with our economic reality as well.If you don’t buy this book you are probably losing time and money!

The Step by Step Guide To Success As An Entrepreneur (With Emails, Scripts & Resources Inside!)
This is one of the most practical business books I've read in years. How do you hire talent from marketplaces to save time? Nathan explains it. How do you run a podcast and structure proposals? You can see proposals in the book. I'm still reading the book and wanted to share my thoughts. I can’t wait to finish reading the book later this week.If you want step by step guidance from a successful Internet entrepreneur, this is the book for you.If you want to see “behind the scenes” – screenshots of emails, proposals, contracts and more – this is the book for you. If you were inspired by "The 4-Hour Workweek" but felt frustrated by the lack of actionable tips, this book will get you covered.
