Hilti 2062051 PD-E Laser (1 mW, 635 nm, Class 2, Class II )Range Meter with Soft Case

There is lot of places on my job with what I do. Places that you just can not measure with a traditional measuring tape. Some times it takes 2 people to hold a tape, this laser measuring is highly effective and accurate. I love it. It is expensive but I hope well worth the investment.

I bought this in May 2024.In October 2024 my screen cracked while traveling with the tool inside my backpack.Seemed like no big deal -- Hilti has a 1-year wear and tear warranty.But I was unable to register the tool online, so I called Hilti.Hilti checked the serial number and advised the tool was "scrapped," and was required to be destroyed.Instead, someone sold it to me for $485 on Amazon.Hilti's perspective is:1) Not only does the tool not qualify for Hilti's warranty because it was purchased from a 3rd party (I didn't know that), but2) Because the tool's serial number is "scrapped," HILTI WILL NOT EVEN REPAIR IT AT MY EXPENSE.This $485 tool is completely worthless.Buyer Beware.

Maybe I'm a geek but this thing is so much fun to play with. Just look up Hilti's youtube videos and practice along. Very cool Laser.

Use this for work. Pretty easy to use and cuts my measuring time in half. This is my second Hilti laser in15 years. Highly recommend.

I work alone a lot and this unit makes all my measuring reliable and accurate. It works indoors and outdoors perfectly, you have to get used to really exact measurements, but you can change the accuracy level you need. it does indirect measurements like measuring a roof-line from the ground or measuring a tree height, the applications are endless. I even use it for installing cabinets and doors and windows, i love this tool.I had a problem with my unit after almost one and a half years of hard use and Hilti sent me a prepaid UPS label and i sent it back to them and they sent me a brand new unit within days, great service, and a great tool

Awesome tool, I bought this for doing a large T&G ceiling, but now use It for measuring base. It is a time saver, and you can’t beat Hilti’s awesome warranty and customer service.

Hilti is a complete scam. My laser broke digitally within a year, it started and screen worked but displayed a phone saying to call the Hilti phone number. They had me send it in to get fixed and then would not fix it. They tried to make me pay $60 just to return my broken laser, so they highjacked it knowing I wouldn’t pay that to receive it back. Who knows if it was really broke or not. They wanted $983 for a new laser as a solution to my issue. They also charge $90 for the stick that goes with this and that is equally a terrible product that bends and looses its durability quickly.
