This stool is extremely well engineered and very sturdy, with excellent assembly instructions. However, the description is a bit misleading. A 24 inch stool measures 24 inches at the bottom of the seat. It measures a little over 29 inches at the top of the seat level. Return costs are more than half the cost of the stool, so I opted to cut 5 inches off the bottom of the legs. This was a drastic move but it turned out well and my wife loves it now. Just be careful to order the correct height which I did not do.

The color advertised is flat out FALSE. These chairs are NOT distressed white (which is an off-white or whitewash color, but still white), we were very disappointed to find that they are actually quite a yellowy/cream color, nowhere close to white, "distressed" or otherwise! The seller / manufacturer clearly need to have their eyes checked or are otherwise intentionally misleading buyers. This is the SECOND time we have purchased bar stools from an asiatic manufacturer and HAVE BEEN MISLED ABOUT THE COLOR, and so it will be the second time we return them due to false advertising. White is white, distressed white is off white or whitewashed, cream is cream, and yellow is yellow. Please get it right!!! Further, you all seem to be selling the same products under different manufacturer names and styles. Between two orders, you have locked up nearly $1,000 of our money for a total of almost 12 weeks due to misrepresentation and slower delivery than you advertise upfront. All of you far eastern companies need to be more thoroughly vetted by Amazon and removed as sellers if you are going to continuously mislead customers!!!

These stools are great for the price! They are sturdy, easy to assemble, plenty of padding in the chair, comfortable, swivel easily, just great! They are cream and not white however. I have uploaded two pictures. One of them again my white cabinets out of the box. I sprayed them white before assembling. The second photo is after I sprayed them white and put against my cabinets again for reference. Super easy fix for an $8 can of spray paint! I have had them for several months now and they are still sturdy and nothing has broken. I would buy these again.

I bought 2 of the 24" distressed black to match my new dining table and I got them Like New from the Amazon Warehouse. One came in Like New condition but the other one was beat up with the hardware flopping around inside and not all padded so i sent it back. I put the one in good shape together by watching a you tube video (the return didn't have the instructions inside). It went together easily and looks real good once it is all put together.The Barstool is made from real wood and the padding is a little hard but i am sure over time it will wear down. The distressed parts are the edges of the chair. It is a red color and actually looks real nice if you are into the style. The chairs are real heavy and sturdy once put together. Overall I am happy with it and would buy it again in the future

Several family members have also purchased this barstool. It comes well packed to prevent shipping damage. The black vinyl seat can be recovered easily with a layer of quilt padding (don’t know exact name for this) and the upholstery fabric of your choice, as shown in my photo. If you do recover the seat, replace the seat screws with longer screws to adjust for the thicker cushion. Mine are 2 years old and get daily use. My 80+ mother purchased them and easily put them together on her own. Best barstool ever!

Color is very yellow tone of off white. Other than that the stools are easy to assemble and sturdy.My photo has white paper towels, off white wall and yellow tone base to this stool.

Ordered these for a proud bachelor client, who had seen a 'similar' stool at the P One store. On sale, he said. Great value, he said. So, I went and looked. They were 1. crappy/cheap construction; and, 2. even 'on sale', they were 2.5X the PRICE!!! What???? AND, they didn't have enough stock. So..... I ordered the ones pictured here. They came in three days. Very easy to assemble; and, are very sturdy and well built. The client was thrilled with them and loved getting two for the price of what he was going to pay for one 'on sale'. With the extra $$, we were able to buy a full set of beautiful holiday dishes. (Who says men don't need a woman's touch?) LOL.... (he doesn't know it yet, but, after the holidays, we are gonna recover the seats. Easy Peasy...) ;)

Delivery was fast and the quality of the stools was great
