My dog loves the product…..and it’s good for her

These seem to be helping our old boy get around a little better. He is picky on his flavors, but he likes them he liked the meatballs better but we can't seem to find them. The value for the money is ok. Although they are sometimes too dry and he chokes on them a little if we don't break them down into smaller pieces. Here lately there have been a lot of broken pieces in the bottom of the bag.

I have 2 poms that will eat just about anything and 1 that's pickier than a food critic. This is the 5th joint supplement product I bought because he would not touch any of the other ones. However, my little food critic approves this food and gets excited whenever I bring it out. Unfortunately, I can't give them anymore of this product because it's too hard for tiny old poms. I cut them up into small pieces and still it was too hard for my dogs (10years old). Luckily, I found that the same brand also sells soft chews so my dogs are on that now. I would recommend the hard jerky if you have younger/bigger dogs with stronger teeth. But if not, search for the softer chews by the same company.

Our little guy has never been food or treat motivated, but he is toy motivated. He will do anything for his favorite toys, but does not get excited about eating.Until now... the Chicken Jerky is absolute crack for him. He will do anything for his jerky. He runs to his crate as soon as we open the bag at night. It has also made training much easier. He is so focused on the jerky, the rest of the world fades away. That is unusual since he normally has the attention span of a gnat with ADD.In addition to being his favorite treat, it is also great for his luxating patella. He was already on two supplement but this has definitely improved his overall joints. His knee has not popped out of joint since we started him on Happy Hips.We have tried other brands and even other meat versions of Happy Hips, but his favorite is definitely chicken.The only drawback is the bag does not always seal correctly so the jerky gets hard very fast. We typically put the jerky in a gallon sized zip lock baggie and it stays fresh longer.

Originally I was buying a more pricey brand that my 14 yr old chihuahua absolutely loves. My lil guy is an extremely picky eater & has medical problems so I try to get him something healthy w/lots of flavor (chicken). After his morning meds, I let him pick what treat he wants but he only gets to choose 1 of 3 treats. The mass majority of the times he chooses the Happy Hips. Normally he gets 2-3 treats a day & I always make sure I have a good variety for him to choose from & if the Happy Hips Jerky isn’t one of them he just stares at me as if to say “ uh excuse me, where’s the jerky?”. As soon as I grab the bag of Jerky he gets really excited with his tail wagging at top speed and I know exactly what he wants. The Jerky is a little expensive but less expensive then the Dogs Well & both have the glucosamine & chondroitin along w/the good flavor & he loves both brands equally. He loves the Happy Hips, & the price works for me. **Added Benefit- Even though my lil guy has a few missing teeth he can still eat these Jerky’s with no problem, they are the hard jerky not the soft & chewy ones.**

My dogs already take supplements for hips and joints but I thought the treats would also be helpful. They love the jerky and hopefully it gives them more supplements as stated on the product too.
