I work from home a lot for my job and I have a desk set up with two 21” monitors and I also use my 15” laptop as a third screen. This yields significant productivity in my home office, but there is just one problem: Screen size of my laptop.Because of the size of my laptop screen, and the fact that I set it in the middle between my monitors, my eyes are often working hard to focus on the smaller screen. I have to set the screen far enough away that it fits well between the monitors, but close enough that I can see it. It’s a hassle, really, and I use an external keyboard so that takes from the desk space I need to use.I sought out a stand that would elevate my laptop and make it *appear* as though it was on the same level as my 21” monitors. As much as I wish I could add to the screen, I cannot, and my IT department wasn’t willing to give me a larger laptop. So, I found an alternative solution that has worked extremely well for me.This laptop stand is lightweight, and easy to pack between my home office and my actual office (I have much the same problem at the office, too). I can position the stand how I need it pretty quickly so that I can elevate my laptop to the level I need to keep it eye-level versus looking down at it all the time. I really like the silicone pads on the unit to keep it from sliding on a desk as well as keep the laptop from sliding off the stand. My laptop is small, so perhaps a larger laptop would work differently with the unit, but for a small laptop this stand is great (Description does mention 10 – 15” laptops, so clearly it’s been tested by the manufacturer.).I think I found a way to help maximize some desk space, keep my laptop screen on the same level as my other monitors, and hopefully, decrease the strain on my neck from looking down at the laptop monitor between my larger monitors. Well worth the purchase!

It's small and light, and it would be perfect to bring it with me, but my laptop keeps sliding from it. The supporting legs also slide all the time. Maybe it works if you have a very light laptop or tablet. Returning.
