They help and I recommend
I'm comparing to neoprene straps (more expensive and can accept a plastic splint for rigidity). In comparison these gloves are waterproof and less bulky. I have yet to kayak with these (but that is one of the reasons I bought them, and since they are silicone you can wash them in the dishwasher). The gloves are tight--which compresses--but I find my hands. I have narrow wrists and hands and find the patterned holes in the glove make my skin pinch up and leaves a mark--not a big deal--it just looks weird). I can't image large, pudgy hands liking these gloves. The gloves are not as breathable as I'd hoped, but I sweat in neoprene ones too. The color is a pale pink/flesh color and it attracts lead from pencils...just a warning if you sketch. Overall, they are worth the money and I recommend.

Comfortable but no support
This brace provided some (very little) compression. I thought because it was waterproof it could be worn all the time without removal accelerating the healing. However it did little to nothing for my De Quervain's Tendinitis. A brace that immobilizes or supports the thumb would be superior to this.. I think that any relief from this device would be purely psychological. It was returned. The massage ring is just a gimmick.

Right out of the envelope and onto my hand!
I put this on while standing at the mailbox - it comes pre-powdered so it went on easily. It gives me the support to stop a trigger problem on my dominant hand. Because it is silicone, I can wear it while in the kitchen, shower or swimming . Best solution of an irritation to my thumb from hype flexing it when working in the garden. This is the perfect solution!

I do feel the difference!
Placed order 8/11/19 was waiting for me when I got home 8/13/19. 👍👍 Between the old typewriters, calculators and computers it has taken a toll on my joints. They hurt pretty bad after doing a lot of data entry so for the price I thought what the heck. I put them on and was a little shock. Right now they feel good, going to work in yard and see how they hold up. I definitely feel the difference and will have them on tomorrow at work!

Versitile
I like that you have the option for more or less compression by wearing one, two, three or even four together. It feels like the compression is in the right place at the 1st MCP joint but not as intrusive as other braces. Like that they are flexible and easily cleaned.

Love them
Good to wear when I crochet. I have arthritis in my hands and my thumbs really bother me when crocheting. These really help. I wear them even when not crocheting if thumbs are acting up. In water and out. They are very good.

Perfect support
If you have hyperextended or slightly sprained your thumb or thumb joint, this is a comfortable "reminder" support that you can wear for most of the day to help support the thumb. I have used it as a "reminder" to be careful using my thumb. NOT Good if you need SUPPORT.

Very good
Very good wrist support. Health network but it gets dirty around the thumb area on that very edge.. hard to clean.. but I would buy again. I'm a waitress and it helps a lot picking up heavy plates.
