I just got the kettle not too long ago from 1byone through their super user program. Their customer service has been quick to respond to my questions and concerns.Pros:1. Beautiful design2. Water heats up fairly quickly3.Opening on top is wide enough to fit your hand in and clean when necessary4. Has an auto-shutoff feature to turn the kettle off when water comes to a boil.5. The inside is built entirely out of stainless steel except for two pieces of plastic that seems to cover the screws for the handle.Cons:1. While heating up, the outside becomes very hot to the touch and can only be held by the handle. Other electric kettles I had in the past did not have this issue.Overall, the kettle works well and I am happy with it.

I often drink tea and have long wanted to replace the old plastic kettle on the metal. This kettle is small in volume, but just right for my French press, in which I brew tea. Use the kettle is convenient, the optimal balance of weight and position of the handle. Wide spout allows you to pour water without removing the lid. What I didn't like is the plastic switch. Apparently, it is made so as not to get burned or accidentally get an electric shock. It boils quickly, the circuit breaker operates stably.

I use this electric kettle to heat water for several cups of tea. It will heat 1.2 L of water to boiling in about 6 minutes. Very well made EXCEPT for the power switch handle which is in a vulnerable location and made from flimsy plastic. I broke it off right away by lightly bumping the full kettle (pretty heavy) against the sink wall. Although not covered by warranty, the seller agreed to send us a new kettle. I'll be more carful with the replacement.

Searched and searched for a kettle to replace my basic, plastic free one that just died. This fills the bill. It does take about twice as long as my last kettle to boil the water, however a small price to pay for no plastic. And that is only a few extra minutes. Highly recommend.

Easy to use, water heats up quickly. Nice design HOWEVER, the little plastic tab at the bottom broke off after just 2 uses. Update: Was quickly sent a new replacement. So far it is working as advertised. I will update again if anything changes.

This kettle is fantastic! What a time-saver this is for my morning coffee. I drink pour over and French press coffee and this beautiful kettle heats up water so quickly. My coffee is now ready so fast and without any worry of water boiling over. It is well-made and has a luxury look and feel. It is such a sleek and modern piece. I love having it out on my countertop and receive so many compliments on it. I also use it for cocoa and tea, as well as soups and jello. I didn't know what I was missing out on! So happy I purchased this quality kettle.

Returned. Bottom Leaked. Cheaply Made with obviously inferior materials. Example: The on/off lever is thin chromed plastic, destined to easily break. Returned immediately.

This is the best electric kettle I've found so far. It heats water quickly and the spout is shaped for precision pouring with no dripping. The handle is also shaped well and makes the kettle easy to handle. It's plastic-free and lightweight too.
