Peace of mind and ease of use are the main reasons to buy this lockset.
I am a 72 year old woman and I had no problem installing this on two exterior doors of my house. Once installed it's very easy to add a code for a pet sitter or whomever you would like to give access to your house. When I've got armsful of groceries it's so easy to tap a few buttons and get in instead of digging around for my keys. 30 seconds after I close the door, it locks itself so I always feel secure. There is a red light that flashes when the door is locked so I can tell from across the room without getting up that the door is locked. A very good value for the money! I did not pair it to Alexa.

Buying two is a waste of money.
I like the locks. Easy to install, setup and use. Bought two together for a premium thinking they would both have the same key, but they did not. Cheaper to have purchased two individual locks.
