Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am a very seasoned cook and use quality tools in my kitchen. This is the best potato/vegetable peeler on the market that I've been able to find. I have had mine for years and just purchased several more for gifts.

I first received this item as a gift along with a tomato knife. I loved it so much that when it went randomly missing, I knew I had to purchase the same exact product again. It peels smoothly, never dulled, and is overall great quaility.

This is the best and only peeler I ever want to use. It works well for either right or left handers. I have been using this brand of peeler for over 50 years.

This Rada is a really good vegetable peeler. The blade is very high quality hard steel and the blade is BIG and SHARP and it's easy to use.Pros:-The slot between the two sharpened edges is a little bigger than most so I can peel a lot without it clogging up and that extra space also means that I can peel a thicker layer if I have to.-The hardened steel blade means that it STAYS sharp and peels without having to use extra pressure-The sharpened end is large and pointed and this makes it easy to quickly and easily cut out small pieces of from vegetables (like potato eyes) and fruit-With the Rada I can peel more vegetables in a shorter amount of time than with the traditional type of swivel-blade kitchen peeler-The handle is hard resin (plastic) and is dishwasher safeCons:-Just one: if the handle was a little bigger it would be much more comfortableSo far, the Rada is just about the best peeler I've found in years. After using it for a month I've ordered another to keep in the kitchen drawer so that an extra is always available when the family is preparing a large dinner.

I feel it is the best hand peeler on the market. In fact I love all their knife products and have been using them for 20 or more years.

Rada products are fantastic..started using these knives many years ago and now I don't use any other brand..the sharpness is superior, and they stay for many years..I like a SUPER sharp knife and that is the only reason I've EVER sharpen ed them, otherwise they stay sharp enough..l love the tomato knives..I've NEVER had to sharpen those..and I always only use the Rada sharpener..it's also the best!
