Works indoors in simulated rain conditions; have not had to use outdoors yet, 🤞 . I find the sound isn’t as rich as with a wooden striker (on slate). Maybe I need more practice. You certainly need to hold it differently. Certainly still glad for my purchase.

I used this for the last weekend of the spring hunt. Worked like a champ. My clucks and purrs were on the money and I bagged a bird.

I'm not the best caller, as i started turkey hunting about 4 years ago, so don't take this review too seriously. This is a good, quality call. I was looking to improve from a basic slate call and this one does just that. Takes a bit longer than expected to season the glass, so just use trial and error. A bit pricey but overall probably worth it.

I used this to call Tom turkeys, but seems to be a soft call, not aggressive enough to call in those further away.

I actually like the way the call sounds better using 220 grit sand paper. Compared to the stone that comes with the call. All in all a good call

Takes some getting use to but once you’ve played around with it and lean how to use it it sounds great just like a true turkey.
