I found a new favorite scent.
I have a septic tank, so being picky about soaps is a must. Vermont soaps are not only made from good healthy ingredients, but they are septic safe. They aren't harsh or abrasive and I use the hand soap as body wash. And it works amazing. It is a little spendy, but in my opinion, it's worth the money. There are a variety of scents but you can't go wrong with the sage lime. As a carpenter, I am usually covered in a goodly amount of sweat and grime and Vermont soaps squeegee the garbage right off. 4 out of 5, I am buying this again.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was a bit concerned when the product poured out like water, thinking it also might not soap up. Nice low-key scent and soaps up nicely. I am not thrilled with the price, but I'm trying to go as natural as possible.

Smells nice and is great value for money
This is the second time I ordered the item. Lemongrass smell is as good as lavender I got the first time. This lasts a very long time so it is great value for money. I plan to buy again. Good product.

The cleanest and mildest soap, simply superb
This is the best foaming hand soap I've tried. It never dries my hands no matter how many times I have to wash my hands, and it's free of chemicals like phthalates and sulfates which is great. It's even free of sodium lauryl sulfate which is a foaming agent (which makes us feel like it's cleaning better because it looks like it but it's not) and something that's still harsh on our sensitive hands. With other foaming soaps like Dial, it often feels like the soap is never completely rinsed off and leaves a weird slick residue. But this one is the only clean feeling one after easy and quick rinsing (because of lack of sodium lauryl sulfate I believe). I use both Lavender and Zen for different parts of the house. Superb product!

Perfect for a child with skin allergies
My son, 5 years old, has struggled for 2 years with contact dermatitis. We have tried many, many soaps and lotions and he has had very little relief. We finally found a peroxide based soap that had some success in healing the burn like sores on his hands, but the smell was not good. I did a search for soap for sensitive skin and found Vermont Soap Organics recommended by a dermatologist, but not sold by her (which I always find to be a strong recommendation). We have now been using Vermont Soap Organics, unscented, for over a month with absolutely no problems concerning his sensitive skin. It lathers nicely and cleans thoroughly, and I find all of us have softer skin that isn't dried out. I can't emphasize the "not dried out" part enough - I have 4 small children and wash my hands incessantly, and this is one of the first winters I have experienced without cracked, sore hands from all the washing. Very very happy with this product. I think we will try the lavender version when this is used up!

This soap destroyed our hands
My family has really sensitive skin. I had high hopes and this was instantly awful. Overly dried out my skin on the first wash. I wish I could identify which ingredients it is to make this process of finding soap easier.

Smells good, Quality Soap
Product was as described but I expected it to be larger for the price. I must not have read the description well. Other than it being pricey, it is quality soap that smells good.

Great soap, but I'm very allergic
This soap smells lovely, however, I'm incredibly allergic to it, and my hands feel like they're on fire after I use it. Quite unfortunate, as I definitely have super sensitive skin, but I've literally never had a reaction to soap like this before so I never considered it might be a problem. If you also have sensitive skin, while this is certainly organic, and uses natural ingredients, I would recommend using caution and not going straight for the heavily scented lemongrass in a giant size (one of my favorite scents, this is a tragedy ;n;).This is also an extremely dehydrating soap. It certainly makes your hands feel clean afterwards, but if you value moisturized hands &/ nailbeds, you're going to want to use a heavy moisturizer every time you wash your hands. Random shoutout to Aquaphor, that's the REAL real one.
