Briggs and Stratton 13L332-0036-F8 205cc 6.5HP Vanguard Engine with 3/4-Inch diameter 5/16-24 crankshaft

I used this engine to repair a Billygoat walk behind leaf blower that had a Subaru engine. This small engine was almost an exact replacement for a discontinued Subaru small engine. The shaft and mounting holes were all the same size and same thread patterns as the old engine. I did have to buy a new washer to put on the old blower because the clearance was less than on the old engine. (This caused the bolt heads on the blower to hit the bolt heads that mounted the blower assembly to the engine until I added the new washer.)The new engine works great. It starts on the first pull and has brought new life to my old leaf blower. I just hope that the low oil switch works on this one. The Subaru low oil switch failed and that is what killed the old engine (running with too little oil).

Great engine. Starts on the first pull, throttle settings easy to set and a decent sized gas tank. It's hooked up to a Flomax water pump for fire protection. It replaced a 50 year old Briggs and Stratton (the old updraft carb) that ran perfectly until last year. Jim K.

great drop in replacement for my log splitter. Set up and start up were easy and the engine quality appears to be top drawer.Shipping was fast. This commercial rated engine replaces a lesser quality B&S engine that never the less lasted over 15 years.Happy all around.

Very good engine. Just make sure to fill with oil before you try to start it. This is one of those newer engines the will not start if the oil level is low. It is not shipped with much oil.
