Nature by Design: The Practice of Biophilic Design

Waste of money
Descriptive writing was horrible. I think this book was spit out by AI. The same phrases were used over and over again. This book makes biophillia a complete bore. The author never gave real supporting details as to why the project met the criteria of being biophillic. It was a very dry, boring read. A exhibit of dispassionate otiose.

Timeless design
Library book. No purchase. I had never heard the term biophilic design, but I guess I was aware of the concept of designing buildings to more adequately reflect the needs of their occupants and their blending into their environments. I had heard the term green buildings before. Makes sense. He gives examples of good buildings and explains what makes them good, and conversely showcases some other buildings that are not, at least to his sensibilities, well designed or biophilic. Food for thought. Good design is timeless.
