It's okay. Just a thin piece of fiberboard with chalkboard paint so it is very porous and not very easy to erase. Personally, I don't think it would not be worth the original price. But at the reduced price, it is what it is and I would maybe buy again if needed. Doesn't react well to water as it is paint on fiberboard... so only clean off lightly with a moist, but not damp cloth if absolutely necessary but I suggest just using a chalkboard eraser and count the hazy chalk residue as part of its charm.

Inconsistent quality
A few weeks ago I purchased one of these chalkboards for our sandwich board and was thoroughly happy with the quality and durability. So much so, I decided to purchase a second, identical one. The second board is TERRIBLE! Although they mention in the description for this product that you can use liquid chalk on the board, After the first time we used it, we couldn’t completely clean the chalk off the board and had to spray the board with chalkboard paint before we could use the board a second time. This company’s quality is inconsistent.

The chalkboard is kind of thin but is thick enough to be used in a picture frame as a fun art project, as I did.

Sidewalk board with liquid chalk
I have used these with our plastic-covered sidewalk board with white liquid chalk. They can be a little difficult to clean the liquid chalk - a wet rag is going to be your best bet for cleaning the chalk (versus a paper towel which will shred). They hold the chalk well and haven't warped.
