This is the brightest and best flashlight that I have found in this price range on Amazon! I liked it so much I bought 3! One for my motorcycle, one for the car and one for the house! It is incredibly intense on the low setting for up close work or search and on the high or long range setting, this thing is better than headlights with the brights on! I did purchase the optional rechargeable 18650 3.6v/3.7v battery and I think that will be more economical than 3 AAA each. It is small enough to tuck in anywhere, purse or pocket and great for emergencies. I am extremely happy about my purchase of this little flashlight and I am buying more for friends! This flashlight is as bright as described if not more-so. I saw my small Rat Terrier quickly jump back in the backyard the other night and went to investigate with this light. It illuminated a copperhead snake I did not want to see but did. I was able to see and take care of the snake after it struck at my small dog. The next night I went out with the light in-hand and was looking along a hedge-row line and saw the largest copperhead snake I have ever seen - about 5 feet long and as big around as my wrist, and at 6/1, 260, I am not a small man. Again, thanks to the brightness of this light I was able to "take care of" the poisonous snake in quick order. Do I love this light? You better believe I do and I would recommend it for anyone, especially anyone living in the country or near woods.

I am writing a review on the E6 900 lumens tactical flashlight from Outlite. The flashlight arrived packaged very well in a small, easy to open box. The E6 came with a battery charger, an 18650 rechargable battery, a plastic sleeve for the battery and an adapter sleeve so u can use three triple a batteries if you would choose to do that. As another bonus they include a small keychain style flashlight which i have already added to my motorcycle key. I really like the size and feel of this light, it most definately has an upscale look about it. Its built rugged and looks like it should last for years. This flashlight has five different operating modes. It has a high beam, medium beam and a low intensity beam. Just an FYI: the low beam is usually more than enough light for most around the house uses. It also has a strobe mode as well as an SOS mode. I have three of these flashlights, i keep one in my car, one in my motorcycle and one in my house and i plan on buying another one to throw in my backpack for deer hunting. I have used this light outside and am amazed at how bright it can be. You can easily adjust the size of the light beam by simply sliding the outer shell of the flashlight forward. I do not have any way of testing the actual lumen output but i have bought and owned many flashlights over the years and this one is by far the brightest light of them all. I would guess it is visible for several hundred feet at its brightest setting. Outlite is clearly a market leader in this type of light and they are a pleasure to deal with. I will continue to buy, use and enjoy their products in the future. ( i have purchased two E6 lights in the past as well as other Outlite products but i received this light free of charge in exchange for an unbiased trial and review )

I ordered this for a spare flashlight around my home. The price was right and the flashlight works great. I didn't expect it to put out such a good light for its little size. It was perfect for what I was looking for.It came quickly and was well packaged. I like it when I order products from companies who show they care a bit more by adding a little information about the product, no matter how small the product. To me, that says something about the company. (Some products have Chinese instructions or use terrible English, or do not include anything at all. I don't think much of companies like that.) This flashlight came with a good representation of the product, showing the business behind it cares.

Not sure if this is the same vender I have purchased many units of this style of Outite flashlite's. BUT lets be clear that last unit switch fail early and assumed that unit would be replaced !.............. I love these things purchased "eight" BUTTT only need a ON and OFF switch............. I do not think I am going to be raped or held up in my repair shop so no need for the multi function switch AND that simple on/off switch will I guess, may last much longer Marks Watercraft 707-226-8339

Great pocket sized flash light. Runs off One single 18560 Rechargeable, 3.7 Volt Cree battery, or Three Triple A batteries. Very Bright light. Ultra bright is the Correct wording too. The beam is very adjustable along the base as you extend the flashlight. It opens from 145mm to 165mm. roughly, 5.7" to 6.49" You can get a Spot beam, or a Square beam. It has 5 operating modes by pressing the Button switch at the End cap of the Flashlight. Really great flashlight for the price. I've reviewed two similar, both in make and price. Literally identical to this flashlight. The Outlife E6 beat them both hands down. So I would definitely buy this again. And I would recommend this one.

I work in a prison and we have to count several times a day even at night. Lights up an entire 8 x 10 cell almost as if the lights are on. It makes it really easy to see everything in the cell. Or focus the beam for more precise lighting. The button is a little touchy when switching between modes, but with practice works perfectly. The battery lasts a good while. If you have two batteries one will last while the other charges. Will also work on three AAA batteries (adapter included) But will not last as long as the 18650 batteries. It does not come with a case. However, it fits perfectly in an MK4 OC case on your belt.

Lotta similar lights available; I bought this one strictly on price. Hunt around for the best deal on Amazon.During use the light will get very hot while using full power.
