My Basics Germany 18/10 Stainless steel Spaghetti Pot Set with Strainer Insert and Lid 5.8 Quart Capacity

I had to replace my existing calphon cookware when we moved into a new house with a convection / induction cooktop. I bought this pot because it was cheap and I liked the pasta insert. I've been surprised at how well it's held up over the past year. I've also been using it for cheesemaking without any funky flavors/reactions. Seems to handle the dishwasher ok, too (although I don't know if that's officially recommended...but come on, who hand washes pots ALL the time!?) It's large enough to use as a stock pot in a pinch, too. No complaints!

It heats water on my glass cooktop a bit faster (~8%) than my smaller old pot, probably because the bottom is flat and it covers the hot area better. Potholders are a must. I had to find a place to store it; fully assembled it stands about 11.5" tall. I like the glass lid.

This is just the perfect size for me, I live alone and just make small amounts of pasta for myself. The pan itself is well made, a nice thick bottom and very nice looking. It's also very easy to clean. I like it and I'm very glad that I bought it.

Seems sturdy and well made. Perhaps only because of my hands, the pot handles could be a bit larger.

This is a great pasta pot for 2 people. All the others were way too big. Seems to be made pretty decently. It might be German, but is made in China like everything else. Would buy again. Cleans up nice also!

I like it very much. Less probem when it is time to drain the pasta. It doubles as a steamer without taking additional space. So far I had the chance to use it only twice but I am pretty sure, I will enjoy it for a long time.

I received item that was damaged so I returned item and ordered , new pot came in damaged also with a 10 dollar price hike, pot was usable so I will keep same.

Very well made. Heavy steel bottom even heat. Cooks quickly. I am very pleased.
