Have bought another
Dehumidifier rod sits in bottom of safe just inside door. Keeps humidity below 20% on humid days. This is my 2nd of this type. Never in the way. 1st one lasted 7+ years.

Keeps safe dry.
They work fine. Keeps safe dry inside to prevent rust. Don't get hot enough to burn. Was able to feed the cord through hole in base of safe and the attach plug.

Dehumidifier review
I’ve installed the dehumidifier, which the instructions were very easy to follow but have not used as of yet since I have to finish installing the outlet needed to supply power to get the unit. When completed I’ll then be able to give five stars

Works great
Just plug it in and it starts a gentle heat to create a air circulation.

Great product but information confusing
Product easy to setup and works well.The instructions say "not to use near explosives' but this is very strange since it is designed to be inside a gun safe where ammunition is also stored. It only increase temperature by a few degrees and does reduce humidity so I ignore that part of the instructions. You decide what to do for yourself.

Keeping humidity down in the gun safe.
They should call these heaters as that is what they are, and through the heat they knock down humidity. Gets pretty warm but not too warm. My gun stocks just a free inches away are perfectly safe. Inside humidity is 55 and temp is 77. Buying this from Amazon was a super deal as it was prime shipped. Had I bought from Liberty's website the shipping was an additional charge almost equal to the cost of the item.

Cheap for a reason. Doesnt get real warm at all but havent noticed rust on ny guns
