Not for the faint of heart !
Certainly an eye opener. It challenges deeply routed beliefs that we grow believing in, and not dare to question. The book has rather heavy archeological content that caused my mind to drift. Some charts and tables could have helped.I recommend it for those with interest and a background of archeology.

the only reason it did not get 5 stars is that it was redundant throughout some parts and also not consistent. It was good in that it opened a new interesting possibility regarding the exodus.

Good reading, but cross check it with the Bible until you are satisfied.

Excellent and thought provoking content
Excellent and thought provoking content. Quite a few proofing errors ; I think the work would be greatly improved by a thorough revision of its organisation and structure and the maps certainly could do with improving and linking better to the text. I would thoroughly reccommend anyone with an open mind to read all of Ahmed Osman's books. Let us hope that there is a hidden chamber in the tomb of Tutankhamun and that whatever secrets it may reveal will confirm the author's various highly plausible theses and debunk a lot of the fairy stories which currently hold sway based only on their inclusion in the Bible

Highly recommended.
This author is an undoubted scholar on Egyptology. He writes well and is always deeply interesting.

Right story, wrong person.
Very interesting theory. Except that he has the wrong person as Moses. We know from DNA testing that the body of Akhenaten, is in the Cairo Museum and that he is the father of Tutankhamun. So he could not have been Moses and led the people out of Egypt. The theory that the Exodus may have taken place near the end of the 18th Dynasty, does fit the picture, although it wasn't the Smoke by day and Pillar of fire by night from the explosion of the volcano on Santorini [Thera], that led them because they would have ended up in the Mediterranean Sea, but the volcanic outpourings of the mountain of God in Midian on the Arabian Peninsula that led them eastward. Graeme Phillips made the same mistake in his book "Act of God" by placing the Santorini blast as the pillar of Smoke/Fire.It is interesting to read all the different theories to get to the truth of a story. Osman is a very good writer making the reading, even though incorrect, very enjoyable.
