These were larger than I expected and they are very pretty & symmetrical. The packaging came with a few "dud" pearls to show how rare it is to find the good ones. It was a little confusing for the recipient because she thought I was giving her the dud pearls before she opened the goods ones. LolI would highly recommended and will purchase again in the future.

I bought these earrings on sale along with the PearlsOnly Leeza Black 9-10mm AA Freshwater Pearl Pendant for a combined total of about $30 including shipping. Delivery time was fair to good, but I live in San Antonio and the company is in Houston, so other areas may take longer. The product photos are fairly accurate, but your appraisal papers do not come wrapped in a ribbon bow tie. I don't quite understand the purpose of including the packet of loose pearls with the paperwork. I checked the Better Business Bureau to find that this seller, Pearls Only, is a BBB Accredited Business since 2009 with an A+ rating.The shape of the pearls were so perfect that I questioned their authenticity at first. Checking the papers, it showed that the pearls were graded AA on all characteristics except for shape, which rated AAA. The sizes I measured were approximately 6.9 and 7mm, so they are true to listed size. The shine of the pearls looked great, and when placed next to the necklace, noticeably shined more. They did appear slightly darker, but only because the necklace pendant had a slight purplish opalescence characteristic of black pearls. In dim light, they look the same color, and from a distance, the color difference is indistinguishable.Overall, I would recommend this item to anyone who is not a jewelry connoisseur, or to somebody on a budget.Myself, I am a broke college student, but majoring in Political Science, so I need to start piecing together a professional wardrobe and this fits perfectly into my budget. I have no qualms about wearing these earrings together with the PearlsOnly Leeza Black 9-10mm AA Freshwater Pearl Pendant to present at a professional conference. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

About Earrings--------------Beautiful and the picture is close to what it was except the black part of it. The black pearls look more closer to a shade of Magenta rather. Nothing wrong with that but it is not BLACK so be aware of that. It does not exactly match with other Pearls Only so called BLACK products like say a Bliss Black necklace. But the difference is not something you will be able to figure out that easily. To my wife it was the overall beauty and wearing a Pearl was much more of a joy that anything else.Packaging---------Packaging was nice and had protective wrap with specified Asian style bags to store the necklace. Certificate of authenticity does not say where the pearls are from but carries an appraised value which seems to more value than the price of the necklaceDelivery--------I would give 5 starts just for this because I ordered few days before the Christmas eve and the order was delivered on the day of the eve which technically was supposed to arrive the day after Christmas. I was overjoyed to gift it for my wife and she was very very pleased and happy to receive it. In 'Pearls only' we can trust.Enjoy!

Don't buy these earrings unless you're looking for cheap knock-offs. The metal is not sterling silver - I'm allergic to cheap metals, and my ears started to itch within 10 minutes of wearing these. I also seriously doubt that the pearls are real.
