I have been wearing berets since I was a toddler. This one is very cheaply made with the cheapest wool and it has a seam that runs across the top of the beret. In addition the beany on top is 1 1/2" long. It looks strange! I didn't know it was being shipped from China as amazon should state that, however, it came quickly but the quality is not what I am used to.To compare prices, I also purchased the one for $9.50 at amazon (price plus shpg) which by far is worth the extra $4. There's no comparison. The other one says wool and is of a thicker, much better quality. The sizing is slightly smaller or stiffer (thicker, better quality) and needs to be "broken in," (stretched). I would only buy the better one.The more expensive one is by, far, much better than these cheap ones here from China which are offered by amazon for half the price. We're talking $5.50 vs. $9.50. I have worn each of my berets for 10 years plus. The ones sold on amazon have no sizing, are cheaply made and have a seam that shows on the outside. It doesn't say if it's wool and it is also very thin. If you want a good quality beret that will last, pay a little extra and go with the other one amazon sells.

I like the blue color of this and will wear it. I remember buying berets in the past and they were so much thicker and nicer fabric. This will do the trick but like most things today, I don't find the quality as it should be.

I purchased 2 berets in France last year and love them. I have only received one of the 3 berets I order at the end of January. It came from China and was not as good a quality as the French one. The wool fabric wasn't as soft and thick and the band was flimsy. It's ok, but not as nice as the French one.

I bought this hat for a Girl Scout themed birthday. It did the trick nicely. Amazon also stepped into to save my procrastinating self once again and got it to me in two days. I was able to complete my "why are you dressed like that in June" look perfectly. The hat fit well and the color was pretty spot on.

I think my head is big and this hat fits perfectly. going to paris shortly and thought I'd try to look the part. this is one item I cannot wait for the opportunity to wear. its the same color as pictured and it arrived a week before deadline. I'm happy with my purchase, great product for the price

Still good wear it alot but a little tight and the color was lighter on screen, but i still like it 🌸 just cant wear for long periods of times lol

Wrong color not even close to photo color so I returned it ...but it is still cute

It's nice, just a little more "wooly" than the picture shows. True to color. Fast shipping. Will work for my cosplay.
