A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Probably going to get sued over that. But it does fit the narrative here. About 30 years ago I found myself in need of a belt and wound up purchasing this EXACT belt. A belt that I used just about every single day for decades. It held up incredibly and still looks nearly as good as the brand new one when viewed side by side. But, sadly, one of the thin strips of leather that holds the prongs in place finally gave way on the old belt a few months back and I began my search for a replacement. Given that decades had passed and any and all markings on the belt had long worn off, I honestly had no clue what brand the belt was, if there was even a remote chance that they still produced the product after so long or if the dual tong style was even something I would be able to find at all. Immediately I loaded Amazon and began searching. Ultimately I wound up ordering two different belts, this one and one that was much, much less expensive - just a few dollars in price. I did so because they both looked relatively good and I was not sure how well either would hold up. It turns out that the more inexpensive belt was sized totally wrong and was way, way too small. Rather than messing with returning a cheap item, I just gave it to a female friend who it does fit. Then this belt arrived and to my absolute joy - it is exactly the same belt I had purchased so many years ago. Every stitch and detail exactly the same. Having spent my entire adult life with ONE belt - you cannot imagine the exuberance I felt over having found an identical replacement. As far as a review goes? Although this one is formatted as a story rather than a review the relevant fact is stated very clearly. I am replacing this belt after three decades of daily use and zero upkeep. Other than wiping it clean every so often, I never treated it with leather lotion nor any other product to help elongate the life of the leather. What higher praise, in this day and age, could one offer a product? Durable, attractive, comfortable, reliable and lasts for decades! With any luck I will live long enough to need one more Dickies 35mm Genuine Leather belt. But at 48 the odds are on the belt outlasting me!

I’ve used and replaced these belts for years at my job. Depending on how often you going to use them for the work you use them for. You should get a year or longer out of it. Before the leather wears down and the holes start to break and such. It holds up your pants greatly.

Very well made and sturdy, but runs smaller. My son is a size 32 and it was barely closing. I am returning but repurchasing in a bigger size bc the quality is great.

This is the 3rd time that I've purchased this belt, each time in a different size however. I *LOVE* how durable these belts are -- other belts that I've tried are typically made from man-made materials and simply do not last very long. These belts are both made with solid leather AND have a dual tang (vs. the more common single tang). That, and they have holes all along the belt rather than just the 5 or 6 that most belts have. All these factors together make this my favorite belt hands down! I've been using my prior belt of this same brand and style but, while it is still very serviceable and I'm not getting rid of it, I have lost enough weight that the excess was getting a little unwieldy to tuck around into the belt loops and it would hang oddly for some pairs of pants. So, I decided to break down and buy this shorter version which has been great to use. In summary, if you need a strong, reliable, and very durable belt that looks good, this belt is the one to get!

The top leather started peeling away after the first use and has gotten worse. I only wear it once or twice a week for 2 certain pairs of pants, so its seen roughly 40 days of use. Also, if you are a larger guy like me, the double prongs make it rather difficult to put on.
